*Paul's POV*
As we headed to the top I could feel my heartbeat speed up, I was so nervous about what will happen tonight. When we get up there we take some pictures than I mentally prepare myself for what I'm going to say to her. I go over to alex.
"Distract her now." I whisper
"Okay" She whispers back "Hey Kailey come look at this"
"Get the camera ready." I whisper over to Danny
"I'm all good."
I take a deep breath and get down on one knee, we were the only ones up here so I'll be less nervous. Thousands of thoughts ran through my head, I just hope she says yes. Just than they go to turn around, it was time. She turns around and looks sort of confused but sort of happy.
"Kailey, these past two years and a bit have been the best time of my life. We have been through so much together and I love you so much, I couldn't picture my life without you so I'm here to ask you if you'll take our relationship to the next stage and be the future Mrs.Zimmer. Will you make me the happiest young man ever and marry me?" I say
She stands there crying, no answer.
"Shit." I thought to myself
Just than she nodded and choked out a yes. I placed the ring on her finger and kissed her.
"I love you baby." I tell her
"I love you too Paul, this is by far the best birthday present ever. I couldn't have asked for anything better."
"I'm glad you liked it and I'm also glad that you said yes."
"I couldn't imagine my life with anyone else besides you, I'm glad we've got this far." She says than kisses me again than hugs me. It was approaching midnight which means a new year and I was going to make it perfect. I looked at my watch and it was almost 11:59, I pull her over and just as it hits 11:59 exactly I kiss her. Than I heard the other two countdown from ten
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1 Happy new years." they both say than kiss.
We kissed for another minute than I pulled back and looked at her and smiled
"I had a great end to the year and a great beginning to a new one."
"Me too." She said and hugged me.
We went back to the hotel and went to bed for the night.
