Johns PoV
I am currently waiting for Miku to finish her work. Today Kotori suggests that she and the other spirits both Shido and I sealed so far make dinner together minus Miku herself of course. I asked my former teammates if they would like to join, but the others already made plans.
As I am sitting in the waiting lounge waiting for Miku to finish, I decided to look at the program the television is casting. It is a performance by Miku, most likely pre recorded. As I am occupied by the performance, someone sat beside me and immediately wrapped their arms around mine. I then immediately knew who they are.
Miku: "Hey Darling, thanks for waiting~"
John: "Sure, no problem. The others are preparing the meal right now. They should finish by the time both of us return."
Miku: "That's great!"
John: "Is this performance on TV pre recorded Miku?"
Miku: "Yep, this performance looks live doesn't it?"
John: "Yeah, you did amazing like always Miku."
Miku: "Thanks Darling, just always remember I can sing you a private song anytime you like. Just say the word~"
John: "Yeah. Of course."
I then stood up from the lounging couch as I then offered Miku my hand whom immediately accepts it.
John: "Let's go, the others are waiting now."
Miku then quickly gives me a peck on the cheek before the both of us departs towards the Itsuka residence. Upon reaching the Itsuka residence, I rung the doorbell. Shido then answers the door.
Shido: "Hey John, hey Miku."
John: "Hey Shido."
Miku: "Hello Shido."
Shido: "Good timing you two, dinner preparations just finished."
John: "Great. I'll go wash my hands first."
Shido: "Alright, come in you two."
Miku and I then took our shoes off before going to the main floor bathroom to wash our hands. Afterwards, the both of us then entered the dining room as the other spirits are seen waiting. A large pot can be seen sitting on top of a portable gas stove in the middle of the table.
John: "Hey everyone."
Tohka: "Hey John! We were just waiting for you and Miku! Hope you like the food!"
John: "Isn't this your first time cooking Tohka?" Tohka gave me a happy nod.
Tohka: "Yep! I suggested the others you should be the one to try it first!"
John: "Okay. Let's see what you guys prepared then."
Tohka then happily lifts the lid off the pot as both Miku and I noticeably show a shocked expression.
Miku: "Oh my, the colors look rather... strange. Is that an ice cream cone I see too?" I gave Miku a nod as a response before turning the attention to the ones that made the dish.
John: "May I ask what you guys made?"
Yuzuru: "Silly, it's stew."
