Chapter 48 - Cosplay

John's PoV

The next day, I head towards Jeremy's place alongside Miku in order to get some ideas for a cosplay for Shido. There, the Boston boy himself is waiting inside the garage with a drink in his hand.

John: "Hey, we're here."

Miku: "Hello."

Jeremy: "Took you guys long enough. Come on in." We went inside the garage, following Jeremy's lead inside the main room.

Jeremy: "You two want anything to drink?"

John: "Sure." Jeremy opens the fridge and handed me a can of soda. This one looks quite similar to the ones he drinks in the battlefield, the one that gives him invincibility for eight seconds? I think that was called Bonk Atomic Punch... Looking at the can, I looked at what flavor this is. This soda is Cherry Fission flavor? Never heard of a flavor like that before...

Jeremy: "How bout you idol girl?"

Miku: "Do you have ice tea?"

Jeremy: "Course I do, here." Jeremy grabs a can of ice tea, giving it to Miku.

Miku: "Thank you."

Once we got our drinks, Jeremy lead us upstairs as we make our way towards his room until he stops at a door, opening it. The first thing we see is a bookshelf with a collection of comics, mangas, and light novels. There's also a couch in the middle of the room. Typical Jeremy.

Jeremy: "And here's my room. Make yourselves at home." I toke a seat on the couch as Miku sits beside me. Jeremy on the other hand sits on his gaming chair as he turns the seat around to face us.

Jeremy: "Now, what brings you two here?"

John: "We need your help."

Jeremy: "Well that depends on what sort of help you need buddy."

Miku: "Cosplay ideas."

Jeremy: "Cosplay ideas? You mean wearing costumes and going to conventions or something?"

John: "Yes, that sort of thing."

Jeremy: "Well my friends, you two have come to the right person. Lemme get those costumes here." Jeremy goes to his closet, opening the door before going inside. A minute later, he comes out with a stack of clothings as he sets them down on the table in front of us.

Miku: "Oh my, that is a lot of costumes."

Jeremy: "Oh that? That's just like... five percent of the total."

Miku: "You have more!?"

Jeremy: "You betcha idol girl. These here are my personal favorites."

John: "Well what characters that wears these? Where are they from?"

Jeremy: "Well that's pretty easy. All of these, are from a manga I read a couple weeks ago."

John: "What was the manga called?"

Jeremy: "The manga is called Silver Bullet. Although, the author mysteriously left. Therefore the title remains unfinished for about five years now."

John: "May I take a look at one of the Silver Bullet manga?"

Jeremy: "Sure thing. Lemme get it." Jeremy gets up from his seat as he makes his way towards the bookshelf. He pulls out a manga from the third isle before making his way back towards us, passing me the manga as he takes his seat back. I inspected the manga and looked at a few pages to see the style of the illustrations. The illustrations looks oddly familiar.

Miku: "May I have a look too?"

John: "Sure Miku, here." I passed Miku the manga as she begins going through it.
