"Who knew playing tennis would be so fun!" I chuckled

"Who knew playing tennis would be so fun!" I chuckled. "We should be going home soon, girls! Come back over!" Our mother shouted for us. "Good evening, Mrs. Forger." Fiona said. Not this spooky ass bitch again. Loid came shortly from behind her. I raised an eyebrow looking between the white haired woman and my father sighing. "Do you play tennis too?" Fiona asked. "Kind of but after playing with Loid yesterday, Anya and Eva have gotten obsessed with it." Yor smiled. "Oh yeah. I'm the home run champ." Anya said with a serious glint in her eye.
"Heh.... Yeah." I rubbed the back of my neck.  As Yor and Loid spoke to each other my eyes couldn't help but glance at Fiona who's eyes squinted at them both. Not envy.. that's jealousy if I've ever seen it. I chugged on water from my water bottle. Ah yes. The sweet family drama. How lovely. "Well Mrs. Forger you must be quite the tennis player. In that case how about you and I have a little match." Fiona said.
I choked on my water making Anya pat my back. "Thanks buddy. I love ya." I told Anya making her smile back at me. I choked even harder on my spit when Yor agreed. "SHe's.. SHe's gonna die- Oh my god." I said from the ground I was currently dying on.

In due time the ground was set and both Yor and Fiona stood prepared to fight I mean play... yea. Yor threw the ball in the air to swing and completely missed it. "Wow.." I said out loud clapping as the ball broke into a million pieces. I turned to look at Fiona's slightly wavering face of shock. "Yup. I thought this much would happen." I muttered looking down at my hands that were intertwined with Anya's. On Yor's second try of the ball she set it flying so rapidly I could barely see where it had moved. I was at a daze. I had no idea what was happening and why but what I do know is that strong swing had Fiona battling for victory harder that she had ever tried in her life. It was obvious Fiona had a hard time keeping the ball from falling on her side but in the end it proved to be inevitable as her rack shattered sending the ball to smack harshly into the tree behind her. Fiona collapsed to her hands and knees in defeat.
"Do you think.. do you think she's dead?" I looked up at Loid.
"Well she might as well be." He replied.
Yor ran up to Fiona to check on her in panic that she had hurt the white haired lady who shared a few words with her before storming off to she car and left in a swerving mess.

"That was.. entertaining." I muttered to kill the silence.
I placed my arms around Anya's neck from the behind looking over at Yor and Loid who spoke to one another. "Loid. You saw me win just now?" Yor asked.
"Uh. Yeah I did. I'm happy for you." He replied nonchalantly. "I just beat her!" She exclaimed in his face. "Yeah, you really did!" Loid shared back before watching Yor sigh and walk away.
"She's jealous.." I muttered, forgetting I was right next to Anya's ear. Anya nodded as she had already caught on from reading our mother's mind.

The next day I was sitting on the floor as Yor brushed out my long hair. "We should probably get all your split ends trimmed some time this week. What do you say Evangeline?" Yor asked with a huge smile on her face. "I've never thought about that. Maybe I should." I considered. Yet I couldn't help but notice. Her smiles she gave to us were different. So very different from her sweet smiles I grew to love. Her eyes were distant. There was something hidden behind them. I could sense her pain from a mile away but when I bring it up she always ignores the questions with her own questions. What is there that I could ever hope to do for her? I was just a six year old child. On another time me, my sister and Franky were playing spy's again.
For being a child's game this is actually really fun.
I jumped on the table in front of Anya. "I am Bondman's greatest assistant! Don't worry Bondman! I will keep you safe from this vile, creepy, womanless freak of nature!" I laughed in victory. "That's so harsh Eva.." Franky smiled with tears draining down his face.
He began to chase us all over the house evilly laughing.

Anya paused to draw as I walked to the kitchen for water.
I watched as Franky dashed past me after launching a Frisbee in the back of Loid's head. "How many times do I have to tell you?! I'm not a babysitter anyway!" Franky shouted. I chuckled watching Loid rub the back of his throbbing head that reminded me of my old school back in my old world. My mind drifted off to the moment the teachers gave us permission to throw water balloons at them and labeled it "Getting back at teachers day".
Man I could not forget the day when they stung that one strict teacher in the back of his head many times as the entire student body got back at him for all those times he 'wronged' them.
"There's some things I don't want to say in front of the 'you know who'. Especially you." Loid pointed at my dumbfounded face. "What?" I questions blinking repeatedly as I was lost in my own thoughts.
Loid flashed a huge stack of money at Franky's face who shouted in rage but gladly took the money and ran off to Anya with me who he somehow manage to sling across his shoulder. "Father help me." I muttered. "Okay guys! It's party time! Let's go to the park? What do you say?!" Franky said in what I can only assume to be fake glee.

We played for hours before Anya looked out the window awaiting for the arrival of our parents.
"Mama and papa are late. Must be shaking up somewhere." Anya said.
I snickered from beside Franky who in turn replied with a "Where did you learn to say things like that?" Franky asked. "Evangeline.. but mostly from Becky. I hope they're home soon." Anya replied.
"Wow Anya.. I didn't know we was a snitch.." I muttered. "Anya. Evangeline. Do you honestly love your mom and dad?" Franky asked. "Huh? I love them." Anya replied. "Yeah. So do I." I answered, eating from the bag of gummy bears Franky bought for me. "I see." Franky muttered. The door then opened and in came in an embarrassed Yor and a swollen chin Loid.
"Nice of you to kick in because that is probably what mother did to your beautiful face." I peeped from behind Anya. Franky began laughing profusely at Loid's predicament. "Did you try to pull the moves under and get clobbered?" He said which in turn made me laugh out loud too. "Probably so! Seems your not the only one with relationship problems uncle Franky!" We braced on each other laughing to an extreme extent. "No no! It's not like that!" Yor exclaimed.

Franky hoisted Anya in order to make her reach out to Loid's face and touch the injury on his face. "Don't touch it!" Loid shouted.
For the rest of the night me and Franky could not get enough of teasing Loid about his chin monster and ended up getting grounded for a week with no gummy bears and endless studying.
