I LOVE JULIE ARAFAGHARGHHUUARRAUYAGHHH

I was currently in my house, the light of the late afternoon leaking through my window and onto the table where I sat, writing down a shopping list for the next time I go to Howdy's.

I suddenly heard a knock at my door, wondering who it was, I got up from my chair and opened the door.

Julie was standing there, I bright smile on her her face and a weaved basket in her hands. "Honey crumbs!" She chimed, then immediately leaped onto to me and hugged me tightly, planting a kiss on my cheek.

I hugged her back, nuzzling my face into the crook of her neck and smiling. "Hiya Julie."

She leaped down and held my hand. "I wanna show you something! I planned it just for us!" She was practically jumping with excitement. I smiled and quickly put on my shoes, then shut the door behind me and began to follow Julie.

Julie led me out to the flower field, chattering and skipping as she held my hand and I followed her with a smile on my face, not wanting to interrupt her.

We finnaly reached a reactively shady spot just out of the sun. Not cold, though cool enough to keep us from overheating. He took a thin striped blanket out of her basket and and neatly layed it down, she sat and began to take out small little boxes of food. I sat next to her. "Oh my gosh Julie...did you make all this?"

Julie smiled happily. "Nope! I helped Poppy make most of it. All the the ingredients were purchased from Howdy's! So you know they're fresh!" In the boxes were fruits and small diagonally-cut sandwiches, as well as a small box wrapped in a bow that Julie handed to me.

"Open it! I bet you'll liikkeee ittt." she sang. I gently took the box and opened it. My eyes widened. "It's (favorite food)! Oh Julie, thank you so much..." a said, giving her a kiss on the check, making her giggle and smile. "I'm so glad you like it! My and poppy worked really hard on it." She touched her fingers together and blushed (🥺👉👈).

I leaned closer to her and gave her another kiss on the cheek. "You're too sweet..." She leaned against me and rested her hands on her lap.

We talked late into the evening, eating almost all of the food she had brought. As the sun set and cast pink and deep orange rays across the horizon, me and Julie lay down on the blanket- my head resting on both my hands and Julie laying next to me, us both silently watching the last of the clouds drift by.

Soon, I saw Julie's eyes began to grow heavy and she rested her head on my chest, I wrapped my arms around her and gently stroked her fluffy hair as she drifted off.

"Julie?..." I whispered, she fluttered her eyes open and rubbed them. "I'm sorry..." she mumbled tiredly. I cupped her check and kissed her on the forehead. "Don't be, you did so much...I understand that you're tired."

We packed up the blanket and empty boxes and began to head back, a tired Julie leaning on me, gently drifting off as we both walked back to her house. She stepped onto her porch and gave me I peck on the lips. "Thank you so much for today. You have no idea how much it meant." She said, smiling sweetly.

"Thank you, this was the sweetest surprise I've ever gotten..." she gave me a big hug, blew me another kiss, and close the door gently behind her.

I smiled to myself and walked off back down the road. Smiling as the sun sank behind the horizon.
