~~~~~
I opened the rickety, moss-covered shed door stepped inside, Wally following close behind. "It's...cozy." Wally said simply, looking around.
Since I couldn't exactly afford nor find time to construct a proper greenhouse, I had repurposed the old shed near my house. Flowers and vines trailed the walls, half-plooming buds hanging loosely off the ceiling.
The shed wasn't that big, though I was enough to fit over fifteen pots of flowers and plants all around its shelves and edges. "Y'know, we've been together for over a month now, I really wish you could've showed me all this sooner." Wally mentioned, smiling.
I chuckled in embarrassment. "I know, I know...I just had to clean up a lot. Sometimes the plants will overgrow and push other pots off the shelves which cause them to break." I explained, picking up a few large stray chunks of brick pot and placing it on an empty space on the shelf.
"We'll, You've done a splendid job, fairytale." Wally said, gently brushing the petals of a flourishing bluebell. I blushed lightly at the pet name.
Wally looked back up at me. "So you say you found this old shed like it is? Nothing...in it?" He said, looking off to the side. I cocked my head and smiled, confused. "Yes, I found it as it is. The holes isn't he roof provide great access for sunlight, even rain at times. Why do you ask?"
Wally scratched the back of his neck nonchalantly. "Oh no reason, just want to...make sure your safe. That there's nothing in here to frighten or harm you."
I stepped up to Wally and straightened the wrinkled coat on his shoulders. "I can handle myself, Wally. You know that." I put my hand on his cheek and smiled. As I was about to turn away, Wally gently pushed me up against the wall that was behind us. I flushed a deep pink and looked at Wally, who was gazing down at me with a teasing grin.
 "Wally, what on earth are you doing?" I huffed impatiently, crossing my arms and narrowing my eyes at Wally. "I don't know...what do you think  I'm doing?" He asked, leaning closer as his smile grew.
"I don't know what  you're doing. But I'm not in the mood." I brushed by him and grabbed my spray bottle, gently misting the zinnias. Wally whimpered and hugged me gently from behind, burying his face in my hair (if you don't have hair he just rested his check of your head idk).
"Wally, I am fully prepared to spray you if you don't stop whimpering like a lost puppy." I said, half jokingly. Wally took a step back and put his hands in the air in defeat. "Fine, fine. Another time, though...right?" I sighed and smiled or myself. "Of course, Wally another time."
~little le time skip~
The sun was beginning to set as deep orange rays leaked through the broken ceiling boards and into the run-down shed. I figured that we better be heading back soon, Wally had been helpful reaching plants and tools on the shelves and had asked thoughtful questions throughout the tending to the plants. As well as providing a companionship that i had been lacking while in here.
I set down my tools and took off my gardening gloves, as I turned. Wally's eyes were dull and sleepy, his eyes half-lidded up. I chuckled and stepped over to him, planting a kiss on his cheek. Wally sighed, though he cast a sweet smile. He leaned gently on me as he took my hand.
I held Wally hand and led him out the shed, walking to home as the sun set on the horizon. "Thank you so much for helping me out today, it was a very nice gesture..." I smiled and leaned on his shoulder. Wally chuckled. "Of course fairytale..."
