I'm still working on the Howdy fanfic I still have to map out the story and draw the cover art but I still have school to make up for and dummy stuff...
meany wally is basically the opposite of wally with red hair and instead of always smiling he's always frowning. I think he has an earring too? Idk. A lot of people have drawn him you go check their art out!
also I'm sorry that so many of the oneshots introduce a character by delivering groceries but I can't find anything else to segway with ahahahah
TW: descriptive portrayal of allergies/sickness
So go make up for it here's some wally fluff!!!!. Enjoy! 💞

The sun had been compote on with the darkening clouds all day. Light shining in fuzzy rays on the blooming grass one minute and then gone without a trace the next. The wildflowers were beginning to some into full bloom. It was a pretty sight, though for me caused immense discomfort for me.
I had foolishly left my window open, seeing as the night before was hot and breezy, allowing pollen and small tufts of dandelions to be carried in as I slept. I woke up with my eyes glued shut and having to stumble blindly around the house to find the sink to wash out my eyes, seeing when my sight was regained that they were puffy and red.
As much as I loved springtime and seeing nature bloom to life after a harsh winter, I had always stayed inside until the rain fell one more, clearing the air of the things I was allergic to. I never really liked to talk about it with the others neighbors, since I always felt attention-seeking when trying to talk about it.
I lined the edges of my windows and front door with dishtowels, seeing as the gaps were pretty large and I couldn't risk any more pollenated air getting in. I had done my eyedrops and nose drops, so the selling had gone down, but the sneezing was still a constant bother.
I heard a sudden knock on my door, making me jump. I rushed to the door and opened it quickly, seeing a paper bag of groceries in Wally's hands. Instead of wearing his jacket as he usually does, he instead just wore a long-sleeved blue dress shirt with yellow corduroy pants. "Hey there neighbor, I-" he stopped speaking when he saw me, his smile disappeared suddenly. He glanced away and cleared his throat. "Eddie had a lot of deliveries to make, so I volunteered to bring them over..."
"Oh, of course Wally. Come in come in." I ushered him inside, genus turning him to wipe his feet in the mat before he stepped inside. He set the groceries on the table and gazed at me with concern. "Are you...alright, neighbor? I know you never really show during this time of year."
I turned to Wally giving him a weak smile. "I'm fine Wally just...just a little under the weather." As I began taking out the groceries from the bag, I felt Wally's hand move my hair aside and placed against my forehead. I flinched, though didn't pull away out of sheer awkwardness.
When he pulled his hand away, Wally gave me another concerned look. "You're burning up, and your eyes are red and tearing." I rubbed the back of my neck and glanced away. "I just have allergies this time of year, it really goes away once it begins to rain..."
"Goodness neighbor, I never knew this." He mumbled, rested his head against his hand. I waved my hands in front of me and hoarsely chuckled. "No need to worry! I'm fi-" my last words were cut off by a tear-jerking sneeze.
"Here, sit down." Wally took my hand gently and ushered me to a seat at the kitchen table, which I hesitantly accepted. Wally turned away and looked at the stove, running his fingers along the scattered pans I had laying lopsided across the counter. "Is there a teapot? Or...what do you make tea in again?" He asked shyly.
I smiled. "There's a kettle on the lowest shelf, Wally." I turned and pointed towards the cabinet, giving him a smile.
The water had heated up quickly, in that time Wally took a wool blanket from the couch and placed it over my shoulders. He placed a mug in front of me, proceeding to sit down at the kitchen table across from me. "Go ahead." He smiled sweetly with his half-lidded eyes dancing in the faint light, resting his head on his hands. I gingerly took a sip of the tea, and was met with a sweetly repulsing taste. My god, Wally must have added half a mug of sugar to this bitch... I thought to myself, reluctantly swallowing the tea.
"So? How do you like it darling?" He smiled, and I hesitantly smiled back, flustered at the nickname, but that quickly being drowned out by the disc gust of the beverage. "It's great Wally, thank you so much..." I smiled, genuinely glad that Wally even put effort to try to care for someone who at the moment looked and sounded like a puffy red hedgehog.
"Of course, It's what good neighbors do." He hummed sweetly.
