Chapter 25

Thankfully, they didn't approach her the whole day. They kept their fair distance even when she came across them in a deserted hallway of her school building. They just ignored her and simply walked past her.

At the end of the day, surprisingly, it was Damon who came to take her back home. Just as she reached home, Damon motioned her to follow him in William's study.

Her heart was beating loudly in odd rhythm as her eyes fell on Lucifer who was present there along with their other brothers.

William told her to take a seat that she did so shakily. He looked up after signing one last of the document in front of him and gave her his full attention.

"Is there anything you would like to tell us?" He asked in a calm, nice tone.

But it could not slow down the loud beating of her heart. As William expected, he got silence in response. He suppressed a sigh. His little sister was stubborn, he could take it but she was stubborn in relation with stupid things.

She acted stubborn because she was scared.... That he could simply theorize at this brief moment.

"If anyone bother you from now on, you are coming straight to us. And, this time I'm saying this to you nicely, Eleanora."

There was a sharp warning. Nora didn't stick around to figure out. But the questions in her mind acted like a sore thumb.

She was confused thinking about the meaning of his words or because she was too hurt noticing that Lucifer never once looked in her direction. It didn't sound ok to her when she thought he was ignoring her completely. She wasn't going to lie but it hurt. It hurt really bad.

Next day, twins were accompanying her to the school. They parked at the parking lot and Nora followed them.

"The shameless whore." Nora flinched, hearing someone's loud comment.

Looking up from the floor, she noticed that few people were staring at her whispering and murmuring and many of them looked simply horrified at whatever they were watching on the phone screen. She frowned.

Angel and Hades probably noticed the same situation because Hades simply snatched one of the student's phone. That boy who looked like a freshman didn't even bother trying to get the phone back. Instead he looked scared noticing that it was the 'dangerous' twins.

Eleanora watched in confusion as their whole body tensed at whatever they saw on the screen.

She heard her own phone went off at the same second. She opened the new unknown text she received. It felt like ground slipped underneath her feet at what she faced on the screen.

There were her photos.

Bare, on her knees in front of three faceless males. The disgust and shiver she felt after looking at the photo was so intense that she almost stumbled.

Angel wrapped his arm around her, preventing her from falling..

"A-angel! It's not t-true. I-it's not me. B-believe me please!" She screamed out and broke down in loud sobs. The humiliation she felt at feeling everyone's eyes on her was making her cry even more louder.

It was too much for her to take.

She knew it was just a sick lie. These photos were fake but judging the look on each person's faces, she knew that they won't believe her easily.

Just as Hades managed to confiscate each phone and broke them, Nora's body had collapsed. Angel grabbed her just in time and held her unconscious frame close to his chest with nothing but a look of pure fury burning his face.

He was hell bent on killing each one responsible and for making his sister break down like that and made her face this nightmare.

In simple words, what matter the most at this crucial period, that they trusted her.
