Okok so heads up, don't take this completely seriously.

At the end of the day, you create what you want.

You're fight should include the things you want because this is your work of art.
That's the magic of writing, it can be anything you can imagine.

Allso, FIGHT STORIES ISNT FOR EVERYONE !!!

Some people don't like guts, blood and stuff like that which is completely fine.

Violence is bad

Me personally, my stories are violent cuz I'm just desensitized and angry asf 😉

I'm also good at writing fights because I'm always getting into fights at school

Im like a drunk Irish man in a Boston bar

Okay mfers, let's go!

1. The Spark of the Conflict

Okay so before fights happen, there needs to be a reason.

It NEEDS to have a spark otherwise it's weird

Some emotions that start fights:
* PRIDE - !!! - PRIDE IS A BIG ONE
* Jealousy - !!!
* Hate - !!!
* Love - !!
* Embarrassment/Humilation - !
* Fear - !
* Pressure - !!!
* Other

THERES A LOT MORE THAN THAT, BUT THISE ARE THE MAIN ONES

Fights can be complex too!

Fights can have MULTIPLE REASONS TO IT

Umbra vs Penumbras.
* They fight because each of them want to rail frost spirit in the ass

BUT
* They are also fighting because of years of bitterness and hate.

^^^ that fight has multiple reasons to it.

Your characters should have a reason to fight. They can't start brawling for no reason.
(A few exceptions)

2. Confrontation

Before your characters begin fighting, they need to confront each other.
The confrontation can be brief or drawn out.

Example:
Void Reaver vs Lord Sinister

"I heard you were messing with my little sister..."

"Yeah, she's such a loser!"

"Watch your tone when you speak with her. If I hear another insult out of your mouth I'll shut you up for good."

"Or what? What are you going to do!?"

^^^example (lazy asf tho)

3. Setting up the Stakes - (optional)

fights can have a lot of tension. Tension emotionally invests the reader

Each combatant has to have a stake.

Example;
Sinister vs Penumbras (Umbra turns into a child)

Penumbras - if he is defeated, the vulnerable Umbra will get hurt

Sinister - if he is defeated, he can't hurt Umbra

(Completely optional)

4. The Beginning Fight

Okay so our characters are now ready to fight, now what?

Okay so first, the aggressive character throws the first punch. Whoever is more aggressive will probably be the first to begin fighting.
