As the sandy-haired boy led me through the glade, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer size of the place. Everywhere she looked, there were boys of all ages, going about their daily tasks with a sense of purpose and determination.

Meanwhile, my head is spinning with questions. Where am I? Who am I? What is this place? And why does everyone seem to know each other except for me?

"Where are we going?" I asked, looking up at him. "We're going to meet Frypan, greenie" he replied, a smile on his face. I looked at him, "what did you call me?" I asked "Greenie. that's what we call the new ones." I was about to tell him to stop, but I didn't because we were interrupted, it was that boy from before.. that I injured.

"Gally, get out of here" newt immediately said, Okay so those two don't like each other. "I just wanna apologize to the greenie, okay?" Gally said, Newt rolled his eyes but let him do it. Gally turned to me "I'm so sorry for scaring you, I just wanted to calm you down." I didn't say anything "I also apologize for the other boys, they've never seen a girl before. But if they ever give you trouble, you can come to me, if you want. They all fear me." he said, putting his hand on my shoulder. The last comment made Newt snort. Gally pulled his hand away and looked at Newt. "Something funny?" Gally said, Newt shook his head.

"We should get to Frypan," said Newt.

Gally nodded and let us pass him. "Sorry about him, greenie."

Okay, I had enough.

"Stop calling me greenie." I said.

"You remember your name?" Newt asked, hopeful.

"no.. I just don't like Greenie." I told him.

"Okay, I'll call you something else.. love.." He said, smiling at her. I couldn't help but to blush at that. That made me so warm inside.

As they approached a large building, I could smell the tantalizing aroma of cooking food. When they walked in, she saw Frypan, a short and stocky boy with a broad grin on his face, and the smell of delicious food surrounding him.

"Hey, Frypan," the boy said, "this is.... uhm.." he was silent, looking

at me. He stopped, he wasn't allowed to call her greenie and he didn't want Frypan to call her Love. That was his nickname.

"She's new here." Frypan's eyes lit up as he turned to her.

"Well, hello there, beautiful," he said, a flirtatious tone in his voice. "I made you a special meal just for you." He handed me a plate filled with steaming hot food, and she couldn't resist the delicious smell.

As I dug in, the boys around me stared, some in shock at how much I was eating. But Newt just smiled and watched me, thinking how cute she was with food smeared all over my face.

"This is so good." I said with my mouth full.

"I knew you'd liked it, beautiful."

Newt gave frypan a death glare, and he twitched his eyebrows in confusion. I finally realized how much I was eating, and how I must've looked. I swallowed and asked for a napkin. "I can get it for you, beautiful." Frypan asks. "No, I can get it myself." She said and got up and walked towards the way frypan told her where the napkin was.

"Newt, you're looking at her like she's the most precious thing in the world," Frypan teased, noticing the way Newt was watching y/n. "Are you jealous?"

Newt just rolled his eyes. "As if. I'm just wondering why you're being so flirty with her. It's not like she's going to fall for that." But deep down, he was starting to feel a strange twinge of jealousy and protectiveness towards me.

I came back to the table, with a clean face. And finished my meal, Frypan continued to flirt with me, making me feel both flattered and uncomfortable. Newt couldn't help but notice the way I seemed to be drawn to Frypan's confidence and charm. Cause I was, but not the same way I looked at Newt...

After the meal, Newt took me to meet Alby, the leader of the gladers. Alby was a tall, imposing figure with a serious expression on his face. He asked me a series of questions, trying to determine where she came from and how she ended up in the glade.

As they spoke, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with all the questions she had. Where was I from? Who were my parents? How did I end up here? But for now, I was content just to be in the glade, surrounded by people who seemed to care about me. Especially Newt. Who was already in charge of taking care of me? I was also going to sleep in his hut, since Alby refused to let me sleep in a shared bed with 5-7 boys who would not leave her alone. Newt had his own hut, and he was the only one I trusted that day. Not Alby, not frypan, not Gally, just Newt. I was glad to share a hut with him.

Newt, also, tried to offer me a job in the glade. "We need someone to help in the gardens," he said. "You seem to be good with your hands. Maybe you could help out there?"

"Will you be there?"

The thought of working with someone else in the glade terrified me. Like I said before, I only trusted Newt.

"yes of course." Newt said.

I nodded, accepting the job. grateful for the chance to do something useful. As I walked away with Newt, I couldn't help but wonder about the strange and mysterious place she had found herself in. But for now, she was happy just to be there, surrounded by new friends and a sense of belonging.

"Can't wait for your bonfire tonight." Newt said.

y/n looked at him, in confusion.

"My what?"
