I pulled Antonio along with me into the grocery store. I had only been talking english to him recently and he'd been afraid his english was bad. He held onto my hand tightly hiding behind me as we went through the store. "What this?" I heard Tonio whisper I looked to see what caught his attention. "Pop tarts, would you like to try them?" I asked kindly, looking at the flavors on the shelf. He nodded slowly, putting it in the shopping cart. I chuckled before kissing his forehead. "Darling, if you're curious about something you can always ask id love for you to try some new snacks. How about we buy 6 things you've never tried before?" I said looking at him with soft eyes. He nodded excitedly skipping down the aisles to look for things to buy.
He picked up a few snacks that looked interesting. He was super excited and I couldn't bear to tell him to not go over six snacks. I picked up some water and we went to leave the store but Antonio saw something else he really wanted.
"Y/N can we please get cookies please. Look there on sale Y/N look." He said dragging me to the freshly baked cookies. I looked down at the cookies trying to decide if it was a good idea. "Please Y/N please!" He said, his accent adorably prominent. "Don't eat them all at once." I said, he nodded grabbing them happily soon enough we paid and were headed home. We got home and Antonio pulled out everything he bought trying each thing and nodded at each one.
