(Pretty sure  I got this image from Pinterest. You guys know the deal, the photos aren't mine😂)

My heels clanked on the sidewalk as I walked from work towards my car. I sighed as I got in and took my heels off finally letting my feet rest. I threw my heels in the seat next to me and started up my car. However, as soon as I got ready to back out my boss came jogging out towards me. I stopped and rolled my window down to see what he wanted.

"I made some food to have a picnic with someone and they cancelled on me. I made a lot of food, and I was wondering if you'd like to replace them so that I'm not lonely and sad." He said making a joking pouty face and puppy eyes. I laughed at his attempt to jokingly guilt trip me.

"Fine I'll give you an hour of my precious time." I said pouting back at him. He nodded smiling widely before looking at his watch.

"I'll pick you up at 6:30." He said jogging back into the building. I headed back home and showered before getting ready for out little date. I threw on something simple.

Soon enough I heard a car pull into the drive way

Soon enough I heard a car pull into the drive way. I put my sunglasses on my head and went outside to him. As soon as he saw me, a smile made it's way onto his face. I smiled back at him as well hopping into his car.

"Hello sir." I said, making him chuckle.
"Please call me Ramin outside of the office Y/N, it's weird to hear sir after hours." He stated.
I chuckled in understanding. He drove us to a little grass field with the oceans waves clashing against small rocks.

We both sat and ate while watching the water

We both sat and ate while watching the water. "Do you always take your employees on dates?"I said randomly. "It's not a date!" He said, he smiled, his dimples obvious. "What is it then?" I asked him laughing.

"It's quality bonding time between a boss and an employee." He said still smiling.

"Well, I would hardly call it quality bonding time, you practically guilt tripped me here." I said jokingly with sass. He fake gasped at my accusation.

"I did not guilt trip, I don't know what your talking about. I simply stated that it would be a shame to throw good food away. I mean some people in Africa are starving Y/N." He said eating a grape.

"Let's bring the food to them then." I said standing up. He quickly pulled me down with a light yank.

"Okay fine there was only a slight bit of Guilt trip." He said, rolling his eyes at me catching on.

"And about you saying you'd be sad and lonely?" I said, batting my eyes innocently.

"Fine, a lot of guilt trip." He groaned out. I laughed at him and layed back on my elbows.

"I mean really I was doing you a favor darling." He said matterafactly.

"Really?" I asked eating a bit of a bread I had just picked up.

"Mhmm, you confine yourself to your office. You hardly talk to anyone including me. You do your work and leave. You don't come to celebrations nor parties. I'm really giving you a reason to be out, breath in fresh air, instead of being confined to what you call, " A cozy little house." You got to live a little Y/N." He told me.

"I don't like being crowded with people to talk about work at celebrations, I can do that at work. Besides, I thought bosses wanted employees who were quiet and did as told." I responded shrugging. His smile dropped slightly hearing me say that.

"I enjoy celebrating with you all because without you the business wouldn't be what it is today, I'm grateful. We don't talk about work at celebrations, we laugh and talk about anything else but that. I love employees who challenge my thinking, it's where great ideas are made." He responded kindly. I nodded smiling at him. We finished up the picnic food and walked through the big field together.

"We should do this more often." He said finally.

"Go on more dates." I responded.

"Bonding dates." He repeated correcting me once again. I laughed.

"Where do you take your other employees when you go on bonding dates?" I asked.

"No because your gonna compare." He said laughing.  He paused a moment but started to speak anyway. "I take them to fancy dinners, where they fold napkins and have to sit up straight." He said.

"I'm flattered I got the sweet picnic date. I would've hated being in a stuck up fancy restaurant." I told him, he smiled at me rubbing my back for a moment.

Soon enough he dropped me back home. "Promise me you'll come to more parties." He said.

"Fine, I promise." I said getting out of the car.

"Good, see you tomorrow. " He said waving goodbye. I waved as well heading inside to get some sleep. I was grateful for a boss like that, They were rare to find.
