POV - Neon

"Hello students, my name is Professor Hera, I will be teaching you about the many uses and forms of Dust," Professor Hera told us from her podium.

"How are you feeling," I whispered to Whitley.

"Not entirely here," Whitley whispered back.

"Now I know some of you have questions so please raise your hand now," Professor Hera said.

Whitley raised his hand.

"Yes Mister Schnee," Professor Hera asked.

"Why did you choose to teach Dust Study," Whitley asked.

"Because my semblance allows me to manipulate Dust," Professor Hera answered.

"Makes sense," Whitley said.

"Any more questions," Professor Hera asked.

No one raised their hand.

"Alright, now can any of you tell me how many basic types of Dust there are," Professor Hera asked.

Almost everybody raised their hand.

"Well that's a good sign," Professor Hera said.

She pointed at me.

"There are four basic types of Dust ma'am," I said.

"Correct, now who can name them," Professor Hera asked.

Once more everybody raised their hand. Professor Hera pointed to a student with dirty blond hair.

"Red, blue, yellow, and green," he said.

"Well that is technically correct, that is not the answer I am looking for," Professor Hera said.

Flynt raised his hand.

"Yes Mister Coal," Professor said.

"In the order he said, it would be fire, ice, electricity, and plant," Flynt said.

"Correct," Professor Hera said.

"I could have said that," the boy with the blond hair mumbled.

"Now who can tell me what forms dust can be found in," Professor Hera asked.

Ilia shoots her hand up.

"Yes Miss Amitola," Professor Hera said.

"Dust can be found naturally in two forms, powdered and crystalline," Ilia said.

"Correct," Professor Hera said, "Now who can tell me when Dust was first discovered."

A ginger girl in the front row with hair brighter than my own rose her hand.

"Yes Miss Polendina," Professor Hera said.

"It is unclear when Dust was first discovered, but we are sure it was discovered long before the creation of the four major kingdoms," Polendina answered almost robotically.

"Good," Professor Hera said, "Now who can tell me how we use Dust."

A girl in a blue beret sitting next to Penny raised her hand.

"Yes Miss Soleil," Professor Hera said.

"It is used in four major ways being ammunition, a power source, machines, and vehicles," Soleil answered.

"Good," Professor Hera said.

"We use it for more than just that," the boy from earlier said.

"And how is that Mister Gray," Professor Hera asked.
