Ch. 21 Mission: Rescue

It was almost midnight when they reached an old warehouse on the outskirts of Busan. It had started to drizzle.

Jungkook stood outside the building with the rest his brothers.

"Taehyung-ah, you stay in the van." Jin ordered.

"What? No Hyung! I'm coming with you" Taehyung argued.

"You are in no condition to fight. You would only cause trouble. Someone else might get hurt trying to protect you." Jin said sternly.

Taehyung hung his head in defeat and climbed back into the van. He turned on his laptop and put on his headset. He had installed new nano cameras on their headsets which now allowed him to view their surroundings.

"Boys." Namjoon called drawing their attention to himself. "Our number one priority is to get Sua out safely. Don't engage in unnecessary conflict. Aim to kill." He exhaled slowly. "As per the intel we already have, the place is not too heavily guarded as Boss Choi didn't expect for us to find this place so quickly. Sua is being held on the second floor."

"Hyung, you shouldn't take point on this mission. You are still recovering too." Jimin said.

"So are you. Most of us are." Namjoon replied but he relented. "Jin hyung will take point in the core rescue, he will be accompanied by Jungkook and Hobi. So our main job is to provide cover so they can slip to the second floor quickly." He said, looking at Jimin and Yoongi. "Jimin take point" he jerked his head in Jimin's direction.

They both nodded drawing their guns.

"Once the three of you secure Sua, you radio it in" Namjoon tapped his headset. "Jin hyung will escort Sua, Jungkook and Hobi will cover."

They nodded in agreement.

"In and out boys. I want this clean. Be alert at all times, we don't want anymore injuries" Joon looked each of them in the eyes. "Let's go bring our girl home"

They set out in a dead run.

Jimin took point. He led Namjoon and Yoongi to the shutter door.

Two well placed shots on the locks and the shutter was free. They slowly raised the shutter and Jimin lay down on the floor and rolled inside. It was dark and dingy. Yoongi placed a stick under the shutter to keep it open and rolled inside behind Namjoon.

Both rose to find three dead bodies. Jimin had already shot them. That boy is scary good, Yoongi thought. The thunder outside had covered the sound of the gun. Even though they had silencers on, the pop of a shot was loud enough to be heard in the eerie silence of the night. He bent down and signalled the other three to come inside.

Once they were in, Jimin and Yoongi cleared the room for them to proceed. Namjoon stayed back to keep watch.

"Careful boys." Namjoon whispered into his headset when he saw Hobi stumble slightly.

A soft pop echoed through the room as Yoongi shot the guard at the foot of stairs before he had the chance to turn around and register their presence.

He whistled to the others, who quickly headed towards him.

He signalled towards the stairs. Jungkook nodded as he raised his gun and started climbing up slowly. He turned around and two pops echoed. One of the men fell down the stairs. The resulting commotion caused more men to sprint out of the room on the second floor.

Jin was right beside Jungkook. Both were quick and methodical and within a few moments four more of their men had fallen. Hobi joined them as they quietly pushed the door and headed inside.
