" those two are sacrificing each other yet again.... For my sake" Evi mumbled under her breath, " I need to talk to Krishna, urgently"

" Evi... So you won't stay? Dussashan whispered, trying to come in terms with everything.

Anant and Avantika stood at a corner, wondering what had went down with the elders, as Dhristhdyumn again pulled them out of the room.

" Evi... How can I ever repay you?" Dusshala cried, " if you leave us right now... How can I possibly-"

" Dusshala, the best thing you can do right now... Is heal. Heal from the trauma that happened, and try to forgive me. That's all I ask. I have realised... I cannot stay here with you all without creating more trouble.... I am from Kalyug, and I am tired. My ideas and ventures will never be suitable enough for this era, and my existence itself is harmful enough. Let me go, let me find my peace. That's all I ask Dusshala, Dussashan. I know, you all will prosper, just like you have till now. You don't need me here, so please, just try to heal"

Dussashan nodded, but still tried for last time, " if we help Indraprastha win in the upcoming war , will you stay back?"

" I have made up my mind Dussashan...." Evi shook her head softly, "Let me achieve my peace"

Dusshala silently stayed in her room, as Evi excused herself to go talk to the elders, especially Kunti. Evi had taken her time to tell Dusshala everything, as the latter sat there, awed at Evi's journey.

Journey of 800 years in war, and two years in the Kuru family. Both being traumatising in their own ways.

As Dusshala tidied up the opened letters, Anant and Avantika came, sulking. It was clear, they were scolded badly by their father.

" Maa... I didn't mean to disturb you-" Anant started with his half hearted apology, but Dusshala stopped him.

" Putra, come here, sit. Putri you too" Dusshala gestured to her children, " do you remember what I and your father told you about the relations between Kuru and Panchal?"

"Of course... Its like the only lesson you used to teach us when we used to ask for a bedtime story" Anant stated. " Father's twin married our five Mamashrees, and she had to sacrifice herself in the Dyut Sabha where Jarasandha won by cheating"

" And then the war and all?" Avantika squeaked, as she loved the story. " Where our uncle died valiantly while decapitating that cruel Jarasandh?"

" Valiantly? Please" Anant scoffed, " he could have just asked Pitamah to kill Jarasandh. It was plain stupidity. Why waste your life- uhh... I mean... Sorry Maa. I shouldn't have said it like that-"

" Do you remember what I told you about the reason of the war?"

" Yes... That Jarasandh won everything in the Dyut Sabha, and then that Evi person went on a rampage" Anant narrated, " a war was needed to win everything back"

" It wasn't just land that my brothers lost Anant" Dusshala said, painfully remembering everything that went down, " they lost people too. Not the servants and maids.... But family"

" Maa... What are you saying?" Avantika asked, bewildered.

" You uncles, lost themselves, the Pandavas, their wife as well as... Me"

Avantika was in tears, and so was Anant, by the end of Dusshala's narration. It was already night, and they were informed of Evi's departure.

Dusshala had stayed silent about the reincarnation, as no one needed to know that Rudra and Shivi were predestined.
