Chapter Seven

A/N: Meet Chazz everyone. Alex Pettyfer :). I truly loved him in Beastly. He was great in that, even if he was a dick.

I headed out the door to see Chazz and the rest of the men waiting. Everyone stared at me expecting me to tell them what happened in the room with the Alpha and I.

Instead I said this, "Let's go to the ballroom the Alpha insists." They nod in agreement and we made our way to the ballroom. I stopped at the doors of the ballroom and saw the beautiful decorations that had been set up for tonight's festivities. The party was in full swing and everyone seem to be having a good time.

Everyone was either engaging in light conversations, sipping champagne or on the dance floor dancing the night away. The party was in sheer elegance. Different scents mingled throughout the atmosphere, but there was one scent that I knew too well. Vanilla and jasmin. Mate. She's here.

Her scent played with my senses causing tingles to run down my spine. With superhuman strength, I quickly scan the room, picking up on every conversation till my eyes finally land on her. My breath immediately hitched in my throat. She looked stunning in that black dress. She stood by the bar that was located at the back of the ballroom near the exit.

She stood with a male laughing hysterically while she lightly touched his arm. A lethal growl escaped my mouth. I wanted to rip his fucking throat out and make him wish he was never born. I clenched my fists at my side, feeling my claws digging into my flesh not caring if I cut myself or not.

Chazz seem to have sense my sudden change in my mood. "Are you okay Jules? You're eyes are gold?" Fuck! I cursed under my breath. I closed my eyes trying to regained control of myself and my wolf. I took deep breaths to calm down.

"Just fucking fine." I gritted through clenched teeth. I still wanted to kill that motherfucker for close proximity and making her laugh so much. I swear I'm going to tie that cute little ass of hers to my bed and keep her there. I saw all the males ogling her as she spoke to this god for saking ass of a male. I growled as my men and I fully enter into the ballroom. I took two champagne from the passing waiter who was serving the guests in the ballroom.

I gulped down the champagne in record time. I wanted to examine her, to get a close look at her features. And probably ask her why the fuck she wore such a dress to a dinner party too!

I made my way through the sea of bodies that occupy the ballroom. It wasn't easy to get to the back of the ballroom but I did it anyway. I was at the bar that was second to hers. I took a seat on one of the bar stools and ordered a whiskey that the bartender later appeared with.

In perfect line of sight, I saw her in all her glory. Her caramel skin tone shone under the florescent lights making it appear golden. Her dark raven hair was sweep in a braid to the left, revealing that elegant neck of hers. Sliver earrings dangled from her ears. Her black dress had me captivated, she turn around to take a sip of her drink and I saw the bare back and that had a immensely deep cut that stopped at the top of her ass. It was sexy. She was sexy.

Her arms were covered by long sleeves of her dress. Her green eyes seemed to have stand out more against the black material.

Damn all these fuckers are staring!

Note to self Julian, burn that dress. Shit I didn't even know the little vixen name. I swear I'm going to get my hands on her before the night is over. I saw Chazz heading my direction to where I was sitting. He occupied one of the empty stools beside me.

"I won't lie the Alpha sure knows how to throw a party." I didn't say anything, so he continued, "and I also observed that you've been staring at that girl for a half an hour now."

"Who is she?" I finally asked.

"Scarlett Ross my friend. That's the daughter of Alpha Caine."

I smirked at this new information.

"Why are you smirking? What are you planning to do?" Chazz asked, eyeing me closely.

"What makes you say that?" I shot back.

"Because it looks like you're up to something?" He said.

"Don't worry Chazz you'll find out sooner or later." I said while sipping my champagne.
