Chapter 6: The Plan

Ms. Crawly slowly awakens to see Buster waking her up. "Ms. Crawly, get up! Were leaving now!" he said as everyone prepared. "Alright, coast is clear." said Johnny. "Don't worry. We'll be safer when we get home." said Buster. "You sure about that? Cause I can tell you, running won't do much." said Clay as he walks to the window. "Well...we don't have a choice." said Buster. "Yeah well...all these years I thought the same but turns out...there's always a choice. Just never had the guts to do the right one." said Clay as Buster looks at him. "Know what I mean?" said Clay. The group then hears the T.V. as Crystal was in his interview. "I'm telling ya, Linda. I'm a victim! A victim! I shut down my show because of a tiny little twerp called Buster Moon. Seriously, you should've seen this teeny tiny loser! Oh and his pathetic amateur friends, let's just say whatever dump town they came out of, that's where they belong!" said Crystal. "Including El Lobo, Jimmy?" asked Linda. "Oh especially him! And his little fox friend too, whatever his name is." said Jimmy as both Chris and Dante's ears perked up. "All Lobo is trying to do is be a great singer like his dead mom. Where in reality, he's not. He's just a wannabe and a joke, like his mother." said Crystal as Chris's eyes widened. "And his fox friend joined because he wants a spotlight, trying to make a name for himself. He should've stayed in his house, being the lonely loser he is!" said Crystal as Buster turns the T.V off. Chris slowly sat on the couch, slowly clenching his fists and sheds a few tears. Dante sat beside him with his head down, Chris then held his shoulder. He then feels a hand on his shoulder as he sees Clay. "Your mother was a singer?" he asked as Chris nodded. "What was her name?" asked Clay. "Queen." said Chris as Clay's ears perked up. "Queen? Haha! I remember her! My wife and I were good friends with her. She was a special wolf. The way she helps others and care for those around her, I see that a lot in you." said Clay as Chris slowly smiles at him. He then looks a Dante, who nods at him. "Guys. We can't let Crystal stop us from reaching our dreams." said Chris. "No, no Chris. It's clear were FAR from singing and dancing." said Rosita. "No, no, that's not the point. What if we did the show anyway? Behind Crystal's back and gather an audience" suggested Dante. "Are you serious? The second Crystal finds out about this, were dead meat!" said Johnny. "But like Clay said, even if we run, it won't do any good for us. All of this, coming here, planning the show, it'll be all for nothing. Well I'm not gonna stand here and let some mogul stop us from making on of the best show we ever made. We've been in situations like this before and you know what we did? We never gave up and improvised." said Chris as everyone looked at each other. Chris then approached Buster. "Buster...this is your idea. You dreamed of this. Don't walk out and lose that opportunity." said Chris as Buster slowly smiled. "Alright, let's do it!" he said as the gang nodded in agreement. Suddenly, the doorbell rang once again. "Maybe it's room service?" said Gunter as suddenly there was pounding. "Open up or your DEAD, Moon!" yelled Thug #1. "Okay, not room service." said Gunter. "Guys, we just gotta be brave now!" said Buster. "Are you saying we should fight these thugs?" asked Johnny. "No, no, they'll beat us to a pulp. Were gonna put the show on, whether Crystal likes it or not! But first...were gonna jump out that window." said Buster. "What?" said all. "I'm beginning to like this guy." said Clay as they prepared to escape.

Crystal's bodyguards came in as they see the Moon Troupe jump from the balcony. They all landed in the pool as they swan in a stream. "Security! We got 11 suspects on the river ride. Repeat, 11 suspects on the river ride!" said Thug #2. "Uh this is pool security. We don't see anyone." said a guard. "There! They're heading through the forest. West side!" said the other guard.  The Troupe managed to evade Crystal's thugs and make their way back to the Theater. Dante then calls Ember. "Hello?" she said. "Ember! Listen, me and the others are gonna put the show on in Crystal's theater." said Dante. "Dante, are you crazy?? Mr. Crystal will go crazy if he finds out about this!" said Ember. "Well Crystal went too far in his interview earlier, so were gonna make things even with him." said Dante. "Alright, just stay safe and try to be discreet." said Ember as they hung up. "Alright, let's get ready!" said Buster as everyone prepared the show. "Alright, were almost finished!" said Buster. "Actually, we need our green alien." said Chris as he smiled. At the Crystal Mansion, Porsha was in bed, still in tears. She then hears a knock on her window. Porsha turns and sees Chris. "Porsha!" he called out as he waved to her. Porsha immediately gets off the bed and opens the window as she jumps into his arms, hugging him. She then sheds tears. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I did." she whispered. "It's okay. It's okay. I'm just glad your okay." Chris replied as he sighed. "But...I thought you wouldn't want to see me again? After what I did?" said Porsha in surprise as Chris held her face. "Porsha...it's fine. It was an accident." he said. "But I should've listened to you! Instead I snapped and you won't talk to me again." said Porsha as she looked down in shame. Chris sighed and titled her face towards his. "Porsha...nothing can ever make me stop talking about you. You made an innocent mistake and that's fine. None of this is your fault." said Chris as Porsha weakly smiled and hugs Chris tightly. "Thank you." said Porsha. "Come on. Let's get back to the Theater. We need our green alien to prepare." said Chris as Porsha smiled. The two got on his motorcycle as they make his way to the Theater. Porsha smiles and hugs Chris tightly, shedding a single tear. "I love you, Chris." she said in her thoughts. They would soon arrive at the Theater. "Hey you made it!" said Buster as he hugs her legs. "Yeah, I might've overreacted a little before." said Porsha. "A little? You were like a total drama queen back there!" said Gunter as everyone chuckled. "Alright. Were all good now." said Buster. "Wow. My dad is gonna flip when he finds out about us." said Porsha. "Well we should be safe for now." said Buster. "Safe? Uh no. None of us are safe." said Porsha. "Mr. Moon! I know someone who can protect us." said Johnny. *In Catalonia* "Mhm. Yeah. Right. Protection? Say no more, son. Were on our way." said a voice. It was Johnny's father, Big Daddy. He and his two friends would make their way to Redshore City. Meanwhile, the rest of the members of the show arrived. The cast then get into their uniforms as Ember arrives. "Dante!" she said as she hugged him. "Ember! What are you doing here?" asked Dante. "I came down to see how things were going. You guys have a plan?" asked Ember. "Johnny called his dad and friends. So in case Crystal arrives, then they could hold them off as long as they can." said Dante. Ember then sees Porsha with Chris. "Looks like Chris and Porsha made up." said Ember as Dante smiled. "They sure did." he said. He then faces Ember. "So Ember...there's something I want to tell you." said Dante as she looks at him. "What is it?" asked Ember. "Ember...ever since I laid eyes on you for the first time...I saw a fox, who not only is beautiful. But also cute and cool." said Dante as Ember blushed hard red. "What I'm trying to say is...I like you, Ember!" said Dante as Ember gasped. In a moment of silence, Dante had his head down with his eyes closed. He expected a denial from Ember, but instead she pulled him into a kiss. It caught Dante off guard, but slowly falls into it. After another minute, the two seperates in need of air. Ember smiles. "I like you too, Dante. Seeing you as the funny, socially awkward fox you are." she said as Dante blushed and the two shared a kiss once more. Meanwhile, Chris and Porsha were in their suits. Chris wore a black leather jacket with strides on the sleeves of his jacket, black pants and black boots. Dante wears similar but just wears a black shirt with music designs on it. "Alright, time to get an audience." said Buster. "Wait Moon, if we start inviting guests, hotel security will just shut us down, right?" asked Ash. "Don't worry. Rosita's got it covered." said Buster as she pulls out his phone. "Norman, release the piglets." said Rosita as Norman takes the piglets to the food lobby and cause havoc, distracting the hotel security long enough for Buster to give the announcement. "Good evening! My name is Buster Moon! Tonight is a very special night, where we host the show that will take you out of this world that features none other than Clay Calloway! That's right, Clay Calloway! And best part, this show is one night only for free! So gather around the Theater for a spectacular event." said Buster as everyone began gathering in the Theater. Then, Big Daddy and his friends arrived as they set up shop around the Theater, keeping an eye out for Crystal for arrival. But little did they know, Jerry received word from the hotel receptionist and immediately informs Crystal, who was enraged. "Alright everyone...it's showtime!" said Buster as the show begins.
