Nightmare's POV a few weeks later
Bang bang!
I glance over to my window in my room, seeing Reaper on the other side. I grin smugly, seeing his anger. I've created a barrier on my entire castle to keep him out, especially in Error's room. He is probably pissed now that he can't stalk or intrude on Error anymore. He points to the window lock, hinting to unlocking it as if that would change anything. I decide to mess with him instead. He deserves it and the angrier I make him, the more I can absorb from him.
I throw my feet onto my desk, leaning back in my chair to relax. I glance at him, already sensing his anger spike. I open a drawer and pull out a collection of puppets that I made with Error to represent the gang. I pick up the puppet of him and glance at Reaper. I smile wider, seeing his gaze lock onto it. I point to the puppet, then to myself and hug it close to myself. It wasn't even a kiss or something and he went nuts. I make a heart with my hands above the puppet and see his fists clench. I chuckle as his pounds on the glass in useless rage to get inside.
"Just face it Reaper, he isn't into you and you screwed up. You will never lay your disgusting hands on him again, nor any part of you. But don't worry, I'll give him everything you couldn't even think of giving him. And I will take great pleasure in making him happy. Now get your sorry ass out of here."I say
He pounds on the glass, seeming to completely snap.
"I am going to kill you!"He snaps
"Ah, if I had 1G for every time I heard that I'd be a billionaire. It gets old. Come on, be creative. Or is that another thing that you don't share with Error? Respect, dignity, intelligence, and now apparently creativity, huh?"I say
"You bitch! I am going to make you sorry for this! I will break you apart!"He growls
"And yet you only empower me more."I chuckle, setting the puppets aside
I open the window, leaning out the window.
"But thanks for the help."I say
With a few swings of my tentacles, he was gone. I hear a knock at the door.
"NiGhTmArE?"I hear E!Pap call out
I shut the window, locking it and opening the door with a tentacle. He steps in and smiles at me. I could sense something darker from him and his smile is....unsettling to say the least. I wave to him and tuck the puppets back in the drawer.
"If you're looking for your brother, he is out destroying AUs to relieve some stress."I sign to him
I learned how to do it in the library after learning from Error about him.
"I aM aCtUaLlY hErE tO sEe yOu."He says
"Oh! What can I help you with then?"I ask, sitting at my desk
He stares me down, his emotions somehow unreadable.
"I kNoW yOu hAvE dEsIrEs fOr My bRoThEr aS wElL aS pLaNs. I mAy bE dEaF bUt i Am NoT bLiNd. I jUsT wAnT tO mAkE suRe ThAt YoU dOn'T tRy ANyThInG liKe ThAt ReApEr FrEaK."He tells me
"Of course! I wouldn't hurt Error! His safety and health with his phobia is a big concern for me!"I sign to him
"AnD oUtsIdE oF yOuR dEsIrEs fOr hIm, tHeRe aRe nO sEcReTs BeTwEeN yOu tWo? NoNe tHaT yOu kEeP fRoM hIm?"He asks
I shake my head no.
"GoOd. I aM sUrE ThAt mY bRoThEr ToLd yOu hOw MuCh oF a HuGgEr I aM. AnD I aM sUrE yOu kNow HoW cRaFtY hE iS, TyInG tHinGs uP aNd ThaT sOrT. He iS muCH mOrE sKilLed aT tHaT tHeN mE. So I jUsT wAnT yOu tO kNOw ThAt iF I fInd OuT yOu liEd tO mE oR Do sOmeThInG tO hIm, oNe oF mY hUgs wiLl bE tHE LaSt ThINg yOu FEeL aNd tHosE tEnTaClEs wiLl bE tIeD In ThE mOst pAInFuL kNOtS pOsSibLe. YoU'lL bE a SkElEtAl pReTzEl iNsTEaD oF a WaLkInG OcToPuS. Do I mAkE mYsElF cLeAr?"He warns me
I nod quickly. He holds his stare a bit longer, than smiles.
"WoNdErFuL! NyehEheHEhEHe! I wiLl sEe YoU aRoUnD tHeN! ThIs wAs a nIcE tALK!"He says, then leaves through a portal
Error walks in through the same portal. He glances at his brother as the portal shuts, then back at me.
"Do I eVeN wAnT tO kNoW?"He asks
I shake it off and smile at him.
"It's nothing, Error. We just had a quick chat."I say
He shrugs and brushes it off.
Stars what is today.....
"So uMm, I KnOw YoUr bIrThDAy Is ComIng Up tHiS wEeK...."He says, fiddling with his deep blue scarf
"Wait what? How?"I ask
I make a point to not tell anyone about it since I share it with Dream and don't want to celebrate it.
"I kNoW yOu ArE dReAm's TwIn aNd hE hAs BeEn rElEnTlEsSlY pInGiNg mY pHoNe aSkInG wHaT I aM gIvInG hIM aNd aSkInG fOr a BiRtHDaY dAtE aLl wEeK."He says with a roll of his eyes
"I'm sorry about that."I say
"Eh, He iS bLocKeD NoW. BuT i wAnT tO gIvE yOu tHiS nOw sInCe YOu dOn'T wAnT tO ceLeBrAtE tHaT dAy ObViOusLy. SeRiOuSly, lEaVinG a NoTe fOr HoRroR iN ThE kiTcHen sAyInG nO cAkEs oN oNe sPECifIc dAte dOesN'T mAke iT a SubTlE sEcReT oF yOur bIrThDaY."He says, digging into his pocket
I lean forward in my seat curiously. He takes out a bright green scarf that I could see is carefully stitched together with patterns that he uses. He wraps it around my neck, allowing me to feel how soft and cozy it is.
"YoU wOuLdn'T bEliEve hOw hArD iT wAs tO fInd GoOp ReSisTAnT yArN."He chuckles
I chuckle, smiling at him.
"Thanks Error, I love it."I say
Especially since it came from you.
"Wait, so does this mean that you're going to share when your birthday is?"I ask
He smirks, chuckling a bit.
"OkAy, wElL...ThE dAtE iS rElAtEd tO mY nAmE."He says
"Error....so a code message?"I ask
He nods.
"A VeRy cOmmOn OnE."He says
Heh, I do love puzzles. This will be a nice one to solve.
"You better be ready for a celebration then. Cause I will plan one for that day."I say
"ThAt's If y0u gEt tHe RiGhT dAtE."He says with a smirk
"Oh I will."I say
His phone dings and he checks it.
"What is it?"I ask
"MeEtInG wItH oThEr gLiTcHeS. A fRiEnd iNviTeD mE."He says
"Wait so there's more glitches than just you and your brother?"I ask
He gives me a look that says Really?
"I take that back. With a multiverse this big I shouldn't be surprised."I say

"Which one invited you?"I ask
"ErRoR404 bUt I aM sUrE GeNo wiLl bE tHeRE tOo. It wiLl bE nICe tO tAlK tO hIm."He says
"Sounds like you have a squad."I say with a smirk
"YeAh, wE aLl gOt sCrEwEd bY fAte One WaY oR aNoThEr AnD GeNo deAlT wiTh ReApEr'S sHiT oNcE sO wE hAvE pLeNtY tO TaLk aBoUt."He says
"I hope you have fun."I say
He smiles and waves before going through a portal. Once it shuts, I grab some books off of the shelf and start reading.
Alright, how many messages are there and what is the one that matches? It would be ridiculous if I end up being wrong and planning a celebration for the wrong day.
