Nightmare's POV months later
I smile as I get lost in my thoughts that lead me back to Error. At this point I have completely zoned out until the therapist snaps in my face.
"Earth to Nightmare. You here with us?"He asks
Oh right. Another therapy session.
"Yeah..."I say, rolling my eye
"So, we've made a lot of progress with your relationship. I think we've established more of an understanding and the foundation for open communication outside of this room. So, do you have any plans together?"He asks
"Oh yes! Blue and I are setting up for a dinner party at the Star Sans base!"Dream says cheerfully
"No, I mean do you have time arranged as brothers to spend?"He asks
I glance at Dream and he glances right back at me. Neither of us speak.
"Okay, your assignment for today is to spend time together outside of this session and report back on how it was."He says, then opens the door
Ugh, bad enough I have to do these sessions. Now I have to spend MORE time?
I make a portal to OuterTale, walking through. He follows close behind, grabbing a tentacle that quickly slaps him away.
"YOU ARE SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! CAN'T YOU DO ONE THING RIGHT?"A familiar voice snaps
"Is that...Nim?"Dream asks
I nod.
"But I thought when you cut the tree...."He says
"Nope, I apparently only freed Nim to bother whoever she wishes. And currently that seems to be Error. Why do you think we even get sent to therapy? Cause she won't leave him alone about us as if he is responsible for our lives."I say, groaning as I hear Nim continue to snap at Error
I see him walk into sight with a notebook in hand, crown on his head, and his scarf around his neck. He writes in it a bit, casually walking and admiring the stars even with the spirit of Nim following him and relentlessly nagging him. He spots me and smiles at me sweetly. I walk over to him with a smile, my tentacles quick to hug him or pat him affectionately to greet him.
"HeY nIgHty! hOw diD tHeRaPy gO?"He asks
"I'm stuck with him outside of sessions too now."I say, pointing to Dream
"Ooh.."He says
"Sorry about her nagging."I say
"WhAt nAgGiNg?"He asks, glancing behind him
Nim is glaring him down.
"Where are my grandbabies? If you won't get them with him, get them from someone!"She snaps
"NIM!"Dream snaps
"I have to have some reward after the trouble you two caused!"Nim says
"I hAve nO cLuE wHaT sHe Is sAyInG."Glitchy says
"HOW?"Nim asks
"How do you ignore her? We heard her as soon as we entered!"Dream says
"I hAvE dOzEnS oF v0icEs taLkIng nOnsToP tO mE, sO i lEaRn wHen tO tUnE tHem OuT."He says
I smile at him, noticing his notebook.
"What have you been up to?"I ask
"ChEcKiNg AuS oUt oUt oF cuRi0siTy."He says with a shrug
"Uuggh, you're going to regret this, glitch."Nim says, fading away
"Is sHe gOnE yEt?"He asks
I nod, then see a tentacle swing past his head.
