I stood at the counter, a yawn overtaking me after yet another sleepless night. Chan stood next to me, making the boys and I some breakfast. I hadn't seen Lee Know yet, which was quite strange to me. My mind was quickly drawn back to the task at hand when I almost spilled boiling hot water on myself. I cursed and grabbed the washcloth off the counter to mop up the mess I made.

I was in the process of making myself some coffee, but obviously, my mind was elsewhere. I had managed to clean up the spilled water and finished my coffee, busy stirring it when a pair of hands snaked around my waist. I tensed up at the unfamiliar presence, but quickly relaxed when I smelled Lee Know's well-known scent.

He leaned down and pressed a kiss to my cheek, making me smile. Then his arms slipped off of my waist, and he walked towards the sink. My eyes followed him until my smile dropped as I became very aware of the presence that was next to me the whole time. I dropped my gaze to my feet, and I prayed my cheeks weren't as red as they felt.

I noticed Chan move next to me, and dared to look up at him, only to be met by a smirk on his lips. I dropped my gaze again, my cheeks burning even more.

"You know I said I didn't mind PDA in the dorms, right?" he asked, still smirking at me.

"I know, it just all feels so..."

"Unreal," Lee Know filled in for me, coming to stand next to me. I looked up at him as he gave me a smile. My gaze snapped up when I heard Chan clear his throat. He seemed to be uncomfortable, embarrassed even.

"I'm sorry if I made either of you uncomfortable yesterday. I just wanted to protect you two, but I guess I went a bit overboard. I mean, you two are adults and can make your own decisions-"

"It's okay, Chan. Really. You don't have to worry about it."

Chan seemed surprised by my sudden answer, but I just smiled at him.

"You meant well. And besides, if you hadn't brought it up, I probably wouldn't have realised how far I've come..."

I smiled to myself, and only noticed I hadn't finished my sentence when I saw the confused look both Lee Know and Chan gave me.

"Three years ago, my first thought in that moment when you said that would have been that Lee Know would do to me exactly what Damian had done." I elaborated. "But I realised that that thought hasn't crossed my mind once all the times I have been in his presence. So, you made me realise just how much I have healed."

I smiled at Chan before looking up at Lee Know, pressing my lips to his cheek. Just as I pulled away, I noticed someone standing behind us, Felix's familiar smirk greeting me.

"Seems you two are taking full advantage of the secret being out," he said as he walked past Lee Know and I. My cheeks flushed bright red at his words.

"Well, we've had to keep it a secret for so long, so we might as well use the freedom now that we have it."

Just as Lee Know finished his sentence, the alarm blared through the house. I locked eyes with Lee Know for a split second before we all ran up to the operations room. We all stepped into the small space, the screen lighting up just as we settled down.

"Good morning, agents. I have a mission for the nine of you, as you all probably guessed."

The commander went on to explain the mission and the necessary details, and I committed everything to memory as he went on. Rouge mercenary. Dishonourable discharge. Out for revenge. Don't kill, at all costs. Armed and dangerous.

At the last sentence, my body went stiff, my gaze focusing on the commander through the screen again. He explained how he needed the man alive, and I tried to listen, but my mind was running far away. I was worried. The last time we had to deal with someone who was armed and dangerous, Han almost got killed. I sneaked a glance at him, but he didn't seem fazed by what the commander said whatsoever. Before I knew it, the commander was wishing us luck and the screen went black.
