A few days has passed since Yuji and Satoru's confession to each other. Nothing much has changed since then, except that the two were more open about their feelings now and Satoru was, surprisingly, less clingy.

He told Yuji he didn't need to do that anymore because everybody now knows that Yuji is off limits. Their friends were not surprised when they announced their new relationship, they were more relieved than excited to hear about their new status really. "Do you know how much of a pain it was? Watching Gojo be clingy and act like an idiot in love while you were being a dense dumbass?!" Nobara said while slapping the back of Yuji's head.

"I'm happy for you" was Megumi's simple reply, a small smile on his pale face.

"About damn time" Shoko said with a sigh. Suguru teased Yuji and said to him "Good luck on Satoru, he can be a total pain in the ass to deal with" to which Yuji replied while laughing "Don't worry senpai, I can handle him"

Days went on, and Yuji felt like he was floating on most of them. Satoru wasn't shy on public displays of affection, often kissing him, sneaking behind him to hug him, complimenting him, it all made Yuji turn beet red.

The only one who wasn't very responsive to them was Yoshino. Which Yuji expected much, he knew Yoshino didn't like Gojo and that he was afraid of him. Yuji wondered if he can get the boy to see the Gojo Satoru he sees. The Gojo Satoru who was compassionate, patient, funny, a dork, and the one that made him happy

Maybe one of these days he'll come around. That's what Yuji hoped

Still, the pessimistic side of him was telling him Junpei and Gojo would never see eye to eye. At best, they tolerate each other

"Hey Junpei!" Yuji called when he saw the teen sitting at the bottom of the stairs behind the school

The teen looked up, and Yuji gasped when he saw bags under his eyes, and his complexion was paler than usual. He looked ghostly, and sick. "Junpei, are you okay?" He asked worriedly, approaching him hurriedly. Junpei smiled softly before returning back his attention to what he was eating. A packet of chips

He offered some to Yuji

"Thanks" Yuji said

"So" Junpei began "You're dating Gojo"

"Yeah!" Yuji responded enthusiastically. "You're happy" Junpei states. "Yeah" Yuji agreed. Yoshino gritted his teeth and clenched his fist

"Why?!"

Yuji was taken aback the outburst. "Why..what?" He asked tentatively

"Why are you with that arrogant bastard?! He's dangerous, an asshole, and looks down on people. He has a history of being player too, didn't you know that?" Junpei glared at Yuji intensely, he has never seen the black haired boy act like this before

"He's not what the rumors say he is. He's a lot kinder than what people perceive him to be, you've seen how he really is when he's hanging out with the people he's comfortable with, with us" Yuji defended. "The things you hear about him are just baseless rumors, minus the 'dangerous' part. But he's only dangerous to assholes who deserve it, bullies, gangsters, those who pick on the weak"

"That's what you see Yuji" Junpei spat. "But you never see what he's like when you're not around him, he's a two faced egoist" he snapped, hoping Yuji would see to reason

"People have layers Junpei! Satoru had a lot of them, and I saw through it" Yuji was becoming more and more upset with this argument. He's never seen Yoshino act like this before. "It's fine if you don't like him, but can't you be happy for me?"

"No! Because you're being stupid for dating such a pig brained freak!" Junpei yelled. Yuji stood up and glared daggers at Yoshino "I dare you, say that aga-"

" Ara ara what's going on here?" Came a new voice.

Yuji whipped his head to the sound and saw Mahito walking towards them with his hands in his pockets, a smile on his face that despite made him appear friendly Yuji sensed malice behind it. And he's never been wrong with his instincts

"Mahito" Yoshino greeted with a smile, something Yuji frowned at

"Sounds like you two were having a quarrel, and I was having such a nice nap...you two were so loud I had to check it out" He tilted his head to the side, smile still in place. Yuji felt uncomfortable just looking at him

"Oh, were we?" Yoshino looked guilty. "I'm sorry Mahito, we can leave"

"Nah it's fine, I'm awake now anyway, so what's going on here?" Mahito's eyes raked over to Yuji, and the pinkette shifted uncomfortably, he felt exposed by those eyes, like Mahito could see right through him. And he didn't like that

"None of your business" he managed to say firmly. "I'll go now", he glanced at Yoshino one last time before turning on his heel and leaving

Now alone, Mahito turned to Junpei with a sad look. "You look upset Junpei, what happened?" He took a seat beside the black haired boy, who recounted what happened between him and Yuji.

Mahito played with Yoshino's hair before answering "He sounds very stupid, that Yuji guy, and as blind as a bat too"

"It's not him. He's just too attached to Gojo" Yoshino said with a sigh

"You..must really like him alot" Mahito chuckled. "I-I do" Junpei stammered with a blush "He's everything to me...I just want him to feel the same way"

Mahito hums as he continued to play with Yoshino's hair "You want him that badly?"

"Y-yes" Junpei blushed, thinking about Yuji.

"Well there's nothing you can do about it now. He's with Gojo now, you're no match for him" Mahito said bluntly, knowing it would hurt the boy's pride more. "Nothing can be done"

"There is something I can do" Junpei growled. "I won't allow Yuji to be strung up by that bastard, I love him more and I can take care of him more"

Mahito hid a dark smirk

"That's the spirit, hell...I'll even help you, whatever you need Yoshino, I'm here for you, unlike those so called friends of yours"

There was so much bitterness, hate, anger and frustration in Yoshino.....and Mahito will use that for his entertainment
