"Rise and shine!" Mahito said cheerfully, his face inches away from Yuji. Yuji gritted his teeth and spat at Mahito's face. The blue haired boy looked surprised, as if processing what he did. Before a perverse smile came to him and he leaned forward and licked Yuji's lips

Yuji thrashed in his chair, glaring at Mahito was such an intensity it could have melted him if it was possible. "Where the fuck am I?!" Yuji demanded. He was pissed that he fell for their trap, pissed that he was taken, and most of all disgusted at what Mahito just did

"Our secret base!" Mahito revealed easily. "You're gonna be staying here for a while, so make yourself comfortable"

"You son of a--" Yuji began but Mahito silenced him with a finger to his lips. Yuji wanted to bite that finger so badly.

"And to keep you happy, your friend Junpei will be allowed to visit you for the remainder of your stay with us" Mahito stepped aside to reveal Junpei in the shadows, his head hanging low.

"Junpei!" Yuji shouted, relieved his friend was alright, before remembering Junpei was the reason he was there in the first place

When the black haired boy looked up, he saw the anger and betrayal in Yuji's eyes, causing him to flinch and lower his head again.

Mahito went over to Junpei and placed an arm around his shoulders comfortingly, he pressed his cheek against Junpei's and smiled at Yuji, who was looking at them confused. "Now now, Junpei no need to be feeling guilty. You didn't do anything wrong" Mahito reassured

"We kidnapped him" Junpei whispered fearfully.

"Correction: we're just borrowing him for a short period of time" Mahito said dismissively. "Besides, this is your chance to change his mind about Gojo" he added

Junpei's eyes flared up and he looked at Yuji with an unreadable expression.

"I'll leave you two alone" Mahito said pushing Junpei towards Yuji and leaving the room.

"Why are you helping them?" Yuji asked hesitantly. "Mahito's a bad guy, I know he's just stringing you along, he's manipulating you! Junpei untie me and we can get out of here-"

"No" Junpei cut him off

"What?" Yuji looked at him in surprise.

"Mahito's my friend. He's been there for me when you weren't. He picked me up when you abandoned me for Gojo, he listens to me, he sees me"

"I see you!" Yuji defended. "And I didn't abandon you, I would never do that! I've just become so busy lately that I couldn't find time for my friends-"

"You seemed to find enough time for Fushiguro and Kugisaki" Junpei said icily

"Junpei, I'm sorry if I made you feel this way" Yuji said sincerely "I promise this wasn't what I wanted, cut me loose and we can pretend this never happened. I won't tell the police you worked with Mahito"

"I can't do that" Junpei said sounding nervous. "I can't let you go, you'll go back to Gojo"

Yuji paused, processing the possible reasons for why Junpei was doing this to him. He said he felt abandoned by Yuji, but maybe there was another, deeper reason.

"Junpei...why don't you want me to go back to Satoru?" He dared ask

Junpei's eyes flashed angrily "Because Yuji..I love you, and I want you to be mine"

They called the police and reported for a missing person. Soon a police officer was in the Itadori residence questioning Gojo, Megumi, Nobara and Sukuna. Asking when was the last time they saw him and who he was last seen with

"We'll give you a call if we find anything noteworthy regarding this situation. For now all we can tell you to do is hope for the best, we'll find him" the officer promised before leaving

Gojo was the quietest one of the four of them. He just sat in the living room while the others anxiously paced and talked about when they last saw Yuji and wondering where he could be.

Yuji, Yuji is missing. Missing Yuji. This was all his brain could process. Like a broken record it was repeating the phrase 'missing Yuji' in his mind

SLAM!

Him, Megumi, and Nobara looked at Sukuna who had slammed his fist against the wall, his expression a mixture of anger and worry. "Fuck! Yuji! He just couldn't stay out of shit situations couldn't he?! Always attracting the worst people everywhere he went, he's a magnet for trouble"

"Are you seriously blaming your brother right now?" Nobara asked with a hard look

Sukuna glared at her but didn't say another word

"I think" Gojo stood up "I think we should go home. Worrying won't help us, the best we can do is sit tight and let the police handle this" he said, surprising even himself with how calm he managed to make his voice sound

"I'm surprised you're not throwing a temper tantrum" Megumi said. "I expected you of all people to be the most affected and demand the police to give their entire focus on finding Yuji"

"I want Yuji to be found, more than anyone" Satoru said with a hard voice. "But losing myself in my anger and worry wouldn't help anyone"

"Get out of here" Sukuna said. "Go home"

The three promptly left without another word.

Once he was left alone, Sukuna took out his phone and made a call. "Hey...I need a favor"
