"Get ready for lunch everyone!" I look at Han as he gets up from my bed. "Well thats my que, see you later!" I wave as he leaves and closes my door. I wonder how Alex is doing. Do the boys get roommates? I shrug off my questions and decide to just ask Alex when I see him. I look through my clothes and change into something classy yet comfortable. I put on my sneakers and head downstairs to the cafeteria. I get down the stairs and am immediately confused on where to go. I turn my head and see a door labeled Cafeteria. "Well, I'm smart." I say sarcastically to myself. "Im sure you are." A male voice speaks behind me causing me to jump and spin towards it. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you!" He exclaims before laughing at me. I give a quick pout and he laughs again. "Your really cute!" He exclaims and my eyes widen. "My names Chan." He smiles and shakes my hand. I smile back "May I accompany you?" He asks still smiling from our earlier encounter. I nod and chuckle humorously. His eyes brighten and he opens the door for me, I walk inside with him following behind me. As soon as I walk in I make eye contact with Alex. "Hyejin!!" He screams and runs towards me. I giggle at his antics and decide to join in "Alex!!" He engulfs me in a hug and spins me around. "I was so worried that they might split up the cafeteria!" He fake cries into my shoulder. "All right you big baby lets go sit." He nods wiping his fake tears and interlocks our hands taking us to the empty table he was originally sitting at. I sit down and he sits right in-front of me. "So!" He takes a deep breath in. "Whose your roomate?" My eyebrows furrow in confusion. "You got a roomate?" His eyebrows furrow as well and he speaks "You didnt?" I shake my head and "Did none of the girls get roommates?" I shrug "I have no clue." I look around and see some girls glaring at me. I cock my eyebrow and look them up and down. "What are you doing Hye?" I look back at Alex. "These girls are giving me dirty glares." His brows furrow for a second, "Who?" I shake my head. "I got this." I get up and push my chair in, walking towards the girls. He lightly throws his hands in the air and speaks. "Never said you didn't Hye." As soon as the girls see me walking towards them they look at their food, avoiding my eye contact. How about I tease them a bit? I smirk and speak "Did you guys get roommates?" They look at me confused and one mumbles at me. "Y-yes?" "Huh, thats weird." I turn around and walk back to Alex. "Well that was confusing." He says. "Why?" I ask with a laugh "It totally looked like you were going to beat them up but that was kinda, peaceful?" I laugh. "I decided to tease them a bit," I pause as he lets out a knowing "Oh" "However I did find out they have roommates." "Oh?" He lets out another one. I raise my voice "Raise your hand if you have a roommate." I watch as everyone in the room including Alex raise their hand. My mouth slightly opens as I look at Alex. I turn and see his mouth fully agape making me laugh. "You can put your hands down, thank you." They nod and continue what they were doing before. "Thats so weird." Alex says. "Yeah I know, but theres an even number of people here." He tilts his head. "So?" I sigh before continuing "That means theres a group of 3." His mouth re-opens "Ohhh" I chuckle at the boy. "So did they put you alone on purpose?" I shrug. "I really have no idea." Chan speaks in his mic, gaining the attention from everyone including me and Alex. "You may take this time to make food, grab some from the buffet, or even bake. You have 1 hour and 30 minutes. Enjoy!" Chan gives us his signature smile and I look at Alex mischievously "uh oh." He looks at me with a concerning expression. "Come on!" I grab his wrist and drag him to the fridge. He sighs and follows my lead. I open the fridge door and see premade cookie dough. "Ooh!" "What did you find?" Alex asks as I grab the cookie dough and put it on the counter behind us. "Cookie dough!" He smiles and chuckles at me. "You have some serious duality." I raise my eyebrow "Nuh uh." He scoffs and chuckles at me once more "Yuh huh." I wave him off as he leans against the wall. I open the package of cookie dough and cut it into even squares before rolling them into balls and putting them on the baking sheet. "Alex can you read me the temperature please?" I say while walking over to the oven. "Its says 350 for 12 minutes." My eyebrows furrow at the voice that was definitely not Alex's. I turn around and meet Han's gaze. "Oh hey Han." He smiles at me. "You found the cookie dough I see." I chuckle "Indeed I did." He laughs back and walks to me, leaving our faces just inches away from eachother. "You forgot to put the time in." I break eye contact with a flushed face and enter 12 minutes on the oven. He laughs and smiles at me before I remember the current question in my head. "Oh yeah, how come I dont have a roommate?" He tilts his head in confusion. "I thought you liked being alone?" "Well I do but how come I'm the only one without a roommate?" He smiles at me "Because I made it that way." Alex chimes in shocked. "You did?" He answers Alex while keeping eye contact with me. "Mhm, I ran it by the members when Hyejin expressed her concerns about the possibility of not liking her roommate." I nod while Alex's mouth hangs open. "You guys spoke to each other before?" I turn to Alex confused. "Uh yeah?" His mouth opens more if even possible and he points at both me and Han. "Are you guys like friends or something?" "Mhm!" Han expresses with a large smile on his face. Alex wraps me in a tight hug. "You wont steal her from me though," he pauses and spins me around to face him. "Right?" I nod and laugh. "Ok, good." He sighs dramatically and puts a hand over his chest. "Are you guys dating?" Han asked and my eyes widen making me break free from Alex's grasp. "Definitely not. Just a friend." I say definitively. Han nods and his expression lightens a bit. "Ok, I'll leave you to it." He gives me a hug and goes back to his members. "Dude." I turn to the stunned male behind me. "What?" "He so likes you." I cock my eyebrows and cross my arms. "Boy, what are you even talking about." He flails his arms around as I turn to grab the cookies out of the oven. "How can you not see that!?" I reach for the cookies, forgetting that I dont have a cooking glove on. "Fuck!" I whisper yell, gaining the attention from some others as I bend down. As Alex was rushing towards me I feel someone crouch down to meet me on the floor. "Are you ok?" Chan asks with his arms on my shoulders to stabilize me. I nod despite the sting and he grabs my hand gently. "Did you burn yourself?" I nod and try to dismiss it. "Ill be fine." He looks at me with one eyebrow raised. "Ok Miss Tough stuff, Im still taking you to the medic station." I chuckle at the nick name and he helps me up. "Wait, my cookies!" I turn around and grab the glove for my non burnt hand before putting it on and taking the cookies out of the oven, putting them on the counter behind me. "No one touch the cookies there hot!" I yell before Chan gently nudges me, telling me that its time to go. I turn around and start walking with Chan. "So how'd you burn yourself?" He looks at me concerned as I sigh with embarrassment. "I wasn't thinking and I kinda just grabbed the hot pan." He laughs and we have to stop a few times for him to collect himself. "I-" he was cut off by his own laughter. "Im so sorry." He laughs again. "It shouldn't be this funny." He collects himself and this time its my turn to laugh. I trip over my foot while laughing and fall over, laughing too hard to care. Before I hit the ground Chan catches me and brings me back up. "Wow you really have a knack for getting hurt Miss Tough." I chuckle before speaking. "I don't necessarily have a knack for it, I'm just clumsy." I shrug making him laugh again. "I think I should call you Miss Cute instead." My face turns red and I avoid eye contact with the boy next to me. "Oh I'm definitely changing it to Miss Cute." I hit him lightly as he laughs teasingly. We get to the medic room and he takes care of my burn, putting aloe vera and a bandaid made especially for burns on it. We intertwine our arms and walk back into the kitchen. Chan looks up at the clock to the side of us. "We have 30 minutes so do as you please Miss Cute." He lets go of my arm and winks at me before walking away. I blush but re-collect myself. Wheres Alex? I look around and see him on his phone at our table. I go to grab some cookies for us and I walk over to him placing them in the middle of us. Once he sees me he puts his phone down and he gives me a pout. "You left me here alone." He continues to pout. "Sorry, I just had to take care of my burn!" His pout turns into a smile as he speaks again. "Ok!" I shake my head playfully. Ugh this boy. We talk for the remaining 30 minutes until Chan speaks into the mic. "Everyone, Lunch is over! We will draw names from this bowl and you will have to create a choreography to one of our songs that you will be able to perform in 3 hours." Felix speaks into his mic after Chan, "Good luck!" Everyone cheers and Chan says the names that are picked. "Now time for the last group." He takes the remaining 5 papers out and says our names. "Hyejin, Alex, Jake, Jay, and Sunoo." We stand up and form a line. We bow to the boys, "The best of luck to everyone." Felix says as he winks at me. My eyes widen and I make eye contact with Alex. I mouth with wide eyes to the boy beside me "Did you see that?" He nods his head, looking at me knowingly. "You all may discuss and create choreography."
