And that is the end of the story"aunt Chrissie said. My name is ruby and I'm 18 years old, I've been in an orphanage my whole life and sometimes I feel I don't have a past, I was different from the other kids because of the things I love especially my love for darkness and I was bullied for but then those periods taught me to be stronger adding to the fact that I had the best friend's in the world, Rebecca and Roisin and we were the troublesome trio. Rebecca had ebony black bob hair, black eyes,pointed nose and a small lips which made her look cute when she pout, Roisin had shoulder length chestnut brown hair and beautiful brown eyes while I had blonde hair that reached my waist,ocean blue eyes and ruby heart shaped lips.
We all stood up and I was making my way to my room when Olivia, one of the little children in the orphanage came out of the corridor leading to the rooms crying,
"Olivia"I said and she looked at me
"what's wrong?"I asked
"it's brother Brian, he took my sweets and asked me to leave his room"she said still in tears, I always knew Brian as a bully so I wasn't shocked always fond of bullying the little ones in the orphanage
"don't worry my dear, I'll take care of it" I said crouching down to her size and she nodded cleaning her tears before she left, Brian is so dead right now.
I walked towards his room and yanked the door open and Brian was lying on the bed and as I walked into the room he sat up "oh to what do I owe this pleasant surprise ruby"he said and I rolled my eyes
"what did you do"he said walking closer
"give it back"I said
"what?"he asked
"what you collected from her"I said and he laughed
"do you actually expect me to give you"he said
"of course why not it's not yours"I said
"forget it"he said going back to the bed but I held him and dipped my hands into his pocket taking everything including money all so fast and he looked shocked
"how dare.... give it back"he said
"grow up"I said and walked out of the room,the smile I got from Olivia when I gave some of the money to her to get her sweet back melted my heart.
I made my way to my room ,it wasn't really the best of rooms but it was okay ,it had a bedside table beside a small bed, there was a clock radio on the table, there was a small wardrobe where I hanged my clothes few feet from my bed at the right hand side,at the front side facing the bed was a vanity table with a vanity mirror and also my makeup kit.
I took one of my favorite novels from my bed side table and lay on my bed when I heard a knock on my door
"come in"I said still reading
"hey ruby" Roisin and Rebecca said while entering my room with creepy smiles on their faces
"why are you both smiling?"I asked them
"well I was thinking that we should go to the newly opened club this night"Roisin said,she was more of a party lover than any one of us
"so you want us to sneak out,do you know what that means we are grounded for a week if we are caught "I said
"I know but this isn't the first time we would be sneaking out "Roisin said
"yes I know but I am not in the mood"I said
"come on ruby, aren't you the ruby I know you can even sneak out than any one of us can"Roisin said and Rebecca nodded
"Roisin let's do this some other time"I said
"common let's do it today,it would be so much fun I promise"Roisin said
"so what do you say ruby"Rebecca asked and they were both looking at me expectantly
"fine but if we are caught you are paying me $700"I said
"that's no problem my boyfriend will provide it "Roisin said and they both left my room to get ready, I put a bookmark on the chapter I was reading before closing the book and putting it on the bedside table .
I took my bath and tied a towel before coming out of the bathroom, I then put on a dark blue tight short gown that exposed my thighs and matched it with a black 6ft stiletto and did my makeup, I then curled my hair making it reach my lower back and it was very wavy.
I heard a knock on the door and asked the person to come in "oh my god you look superb"I heard Roisin say so I turned around to see them looking at me
"you would surely get hooked up tonight"Rebecca said
"shut up let's get out of here"I said
"right"Rebecca said and they both kept mute.
I locked my door and removed my shoes and they also removed their shoes, I opened my window and held unto the tree stem close to my window and swinging myself to the ground while helping them especially Rebecca who was really scared "that was close"she said and we ran to the park which was close to the orphanage"I called my boyfriend and he will be here soon"Roisin said and we sat on a bench.
Suddenly a black BMW i8 stopped in front of us and Roisin's boyfriend,carl came out of the car
"hey darling"he said to Roisin who was typing away on her phone
"hey love you made it on time"she said giving him a kiss
"so let's not waste time beautiful ladies let's go enjoy the night"he said and we entered the car and as we drove to the club I remembered something "aunt Chrissie asked me to meet her this night because she wanted to tell me something"I whispered to them and their eyes widened.....
