I woke up feeling sick and my throat was sore and dry from all the crying so I looked at where I do keep water in my room and quickly emptied the content, I took my bath and put on a big top still thinking of what happened yesterday
"good morning"fiona said with a smile coming into the room
"morning"I said my voice hoarse from all the crying
"aren't you coming for breakfast?"she asked
"I don't feel like"I said
"is it because of what happened yesterday I'm very sorry he just lost control"she said
"I know"I said
"then please come for breakfast"she said with pleading eyes
"okay"I said, coming down for breakfast didn't sound like a bad idea.
I stood up from the bed and changed into a short red sleeveless gown and slipped on my slippers and we both walked to the dining room
"good morning my love"queen Avery said with a smile, she looked more friendlier than usual
"morning queen Avery" I said
"oh call me Avery" she said
"what?"I asked shocked
"if you aren't comfortable with that you can call me mum" she said
"okay"I said and we sat down, Arthur came in afterwards and sat close to me followed by his brother
"ruby I am very sorry about what almost happened yesterday"king Alexander said and I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.
The maids brought in the food
"it's okay"I said and began eating
"I never thought that you were my son's mate"queen Avery said with a smile and I quickly gave her a fake smile, I looked at Arthur who had been staring at me but immediately I looked at him he removed his face
"but come to think of it how long have you guys known about it?"queen Avery asked
"I don't remember but it wasn't quite long"Arthur said
"the question was for ruby"queen Avery said
"and ruby is my mate mum"he said
"fine no arguments on that"queen Avery said
"I'm so happy that you and ruby are mated which means the friendship I have with Dwight would be there forever"king Alexander said
"we are all happy"Arthur said
"I hope....." "we are eating guys chill the questions are getting too much"Arthur said interrupting his mum
"can't we ask the future queen some questions"queen Avery asked with a frown
"mum maybe some other time"Arthur said and we continued eating.
After eating I walked into my room and sat on the bed with my face in my hand, I couldn't think straight, I didn't know if I should accept Arthur or not
"ruby"I heard Arthur say and I looked up to see him looking at me with different emotions
"why are you here?"I asked my voice hoarse due to me feeling sick
"I want to talk to you"he said
"you just talked to me"I said and he walked closer to me raking his hand through his hair in frustration
"I'm sorry okay I shouldn't have said all that to you that day"he said
"why are you sorry you said what you had in mind that day"I said
"I know but I want you back my whole body needs you, my monster craves you and I don't think I can control him any longer"he said
"so what do you want me to do?"I asked
"come back to me"he said
"I'm sorry Arthur but I can't"I said
"why?"he asked feeling broken
"Arthur I don't have any feeling of love for you the only thing tying us now is the mate bond"I said
"if I have done things I don't remember please tell me I am ready to make it up to you"he said
"there is nothing to make up for I just want to be normal again I don't want this stupid mate bond anymore"I said and winced in pain and grabbed a jug of water before taking a huge gulp from it
"Arthur"I said dropping the jug on the vanity table
"forget me"I said with a sad smile
"why?"he asked
"because I don't want you, I don't love you and I can never love you"I said
"but you can learn to"he said
"but I don't want to"I shouted in tears
"ruby"I said tears streaming down my face
"ruby I can wait for you"he said
"you don't have to wait Arthur because that would just be a waste of time, I don't think I can ever love you"I said
"ruby...."
"please get out"I said interrupting him
"ruby please"he said
"please leave Arthur, leave me alone"I said still crying hard
"ruby"he said,held my hand still raising my head so I can reach his eyes
"I know you want me"he said
"I don't"I said
"stop denying the bond ruby please"he said cleaning my tears
"forget me Arthur"I said and pushed him away
"I can't"he said
"then try to"I said and pushed him out of my room before crouching down by the door and crying my eyes out
"ruby please think about it"he said trying hard to open the door
"please leave"I said
"I can't leave you like this ruby"he said but I didn't reply, I kept on crying until I fell asleep, I don't know if he eventually left.
