CHAPTER 53~RUBY'S POV

After dinner I went with Fiona to her room but she insisted that she could not sleep
"calm down Fiona all would be fine"I said
"no ruby you don't understand"she said
"I understand how you feel"I said
"no you don't, do you know how Arthur had prevented anyone from coming close to me"she said
"tell me all about it"I said sitting on the bed and she glared at me
"do you expect me to start narrating stories right now"she said
"I'm serious Fiona"I said
"fine I'll only tell you about Philip"she said
"okay"I said
"he was one of the soldiers and a very good friend of mine, we became close during a ball organized for Arthur, I was very bored since there was no one to talk to so I went into the garden where he was already and we talked for sometime"she said pausing and smiling like she remembered something
"and I found out that he loved almost all the things I loved and that created a friendship between us which later developed into something else but Arthur wasn't in support of our friendship because he thought philip wasn't good for me but I knew what I wanted but Arthur never agreed then finally Arthur asked Philip to play a game with him,a very scary game in which Arthur was very good at and knowing this Philip refused to play and out of anger Arthur put him in the cell"she said
"is he still there?"I asked
"of course"she said
"let's go see him"I said
"no ruby that place isn't a place for pregnant women and moreover I have been told never to go there and I'm sure Philip wouldn't want to see me"she said
"don't you say that, I know you already have theo but why would he remain in prison for something that wasn't really bad"I said
"ruby I don't think going to see Philip is going to be a good idea"she said "common let's go talk to Arthur to release him"I said
"it's too late why don't we wait till tomorrow ruby"she said
"no Fiona, there's a man in the cell suffering for something little, something that doesn't need punishment" I said
"common ruby he'd be released, we'll make sure of it but till then ruby do not tell Arthur anything"she said
"I've heard you, I won't"I said
"good night"she said
"don't cry anymore you'll have your Theo in your arms soon"I said and we both laughed before I left the room for Arthur and I room and met him on a chair in his room writing down somethings
"what are you writing Arthur?"I asked
"oh something important that must be taken to the elders tomorrow"he said "so you are going to the elders tomorrow"I asked
"oh yes"he said
"are you the only one going?"I asked "yes" he said
"alright then I'll leave you to finish up and join me on the bed"I said and he smiled
"I love you"he said
"you already know the answer"I said and climbed the bed, I didn't know how he would have taken what I just said but I did want a reaction, I felt the bed start going deep which meant he had climbed the bed and then he pecked my cheek
"good night love"he said holding my waist before we both slept.
