We have been in the club for some hours now and I was exhausted so I went to have a drink
"I'm so tired"Rebecca said sitting close to me on a barstool and ordering for something to drink
"Roisin isn't herself"I said taking a sip from my drink
"yes she has been acting strange and I suspect that he has been doing things to her"she said
"who?"I asked
"who else if not Carl"Rebecca said
"Carl didn't look like that kind of person when we met him that day"I said
"well you've been away for so long now ruby so you won't understand"she said
"so what do you think he does to her?"I asked
"probably beats her or he does worse"Rebecca said
"what?"I said angrily,that's the least I can accept
"she needs to talk to someone"I said
"I know that but she has refused to"Rebecca said
"she is going to have to talk to me"I said
"I hope she does"Rebecca said standing up "I will talk to her"I said and she left
I looked at Roisin to see her talking to Jaymes,Jaymes said something and she blushed, what's up with my friends I thought as I walking up to them with a drink in my hand
"I'm sorry I have a boyfriend"Roisin said before I sat down
"what are you guys talking about?"I asked and they both got quiet
"hey can we dance?"a guy with black hair and green eyes asked me
"sure"I said and we began dancing to Oliver twist by ardee which was one of my favorite songs,we were dancing happily for sometime before I sighted someone in the shadow who looked like Arthur but I wasn't sure so I continued dancing but the person was looking directly at me which made me feel uneasy because of the experience I have had in this club
"are you okay?"the guy asked when he saw how uncomfortable I was feeling
"yeah I'm fine but can you excuse me for a moment I need to use the restroom"I said
"sure"he said and I left him to where Gwen and Theo were sitting while mixing all kind of alcohol together and drinking it,the person was still looking at me when I teleported and appeared at his back and the person turned out to be Arthur,he seemed to be searching for someone in the crowd and not noticed my presence
"have you been following me around Arthur"I said arms crossed and he turned around sharply really shocked
"ruby?"he said and I raised my eyebrow
"I can explain"he said
"I asked you a simple question Arthur"I said
"I haven't been following you around I just started following you three days ago"he said
"why?"I asked and he raked his hands through his hair
"ruby, you and Fiona have been gone for long now and I had to be sure that you guys were safe and that you......"he said stopping mid-way
"I what?"I asked raising my eyebrow
"you weren't with any other guy, I can't tolerate it"he said
"and do you think I care"I said
"look ruby it's getting really difficult every day to control my monster,he thinks you hate him and he is fighting to come out so that he can do some unpredictable things"he said
"then what is my business?"I asked
"you are my mate"he said
"but I don't want you"I said
"you can't change the fact that we are meant to be together "he said
"and you can't also change the fact that I don't want you so please excuse me cause I do remember that I was with someone and I'm keeping him waiting"I said
"you won't dare"he said
"try me"I said and before he could hold me I was gone.
I walked back to the rest of them and sat down, Rebecca was very drunk, Roisin and Jaymes were discussing while Gwen and Theo were still drinking
"ruby do you know that the manager of this club has been arrested"Roisin said
"why?"I asked
"he was caught when he tried to rape someone and they called the cops on him"she said
"that serves him right anyway let's go home now I'm tired"I said and they nodded,we cleared the bill and went home.
