"I'm sure I checked everywhere or did I "she said doubting herself even though she was correct

"anyway breakfast is ready let's go"she said
"alright then I'll just change into something else "I said and opened my wardrobe before bringing out a black silky short spaghetti sleeve gown and I quickly slipped it on before following Fiona as we left for the dining room, I sat at the dinning table and started eating when Arthur wearing an all black which was not what he was wearing when he left the palace walked over to the empty seat beside me and sat down he didn't even acknowledge my presence but instead he started eating and I just stared at him, everyone had began eating apart from me
"ruby dear aren't you eating?"queen Avery asked
"I am eating"I said while bending my head before I started eating.
Arthur looked at the glass of blood before him and frowned
"what is this?"he asked angrily
"what's wrong son"king Alexander asked him "bella"he shouted ignoring his dad and the old maid quickly ran in from the kitchen
"you called me prince Arthur"she said bowing down looking very scared
"what did I tell you about the blood that should be given to me?"Arthur asked in a deadly tone
"oh my, I'm so sorry...... prince Arthur.... I forgot"she stuttered while shivering in fear
"Arthur when did you start drinking a blood type that is different from our?"king Alexander asked
"ever since I decided to become strong"he said
"and when was that?"king Alexander asked again
"why don't you answer that yourself"Arthur said
"anyway where is my food?"he asked
"I'll get you one of the maids"the old maid said before she went back to the kitchen,she came back few minutes with six maids,3 boys and 3 girls
"choose my prince"the old maid said , Arthur looked at all of them for sometime until he sighted a pale looking girl with chestnut brown hair who was shaking in fear
"you come here"he said motioning with his hand and she froze
"no"she said and started moving back
"come here right now I have no time to chase a silly human"he said
"prince Arthur please leave her alone and take me instead"a boy said and Arthur looked amused
"no I want her"he said
"prince Arthur I'll do anything just please take me and not her"the boy said
"no Pierre don't"she said crying
"I have to okay"he said and pecked her forehead
"don't do this to me Pierre this is my problem and I'll solve it myself"she said crying
"your problems are my concern paloma because you are my everything"Pierre said
"hmm I'm sensing a romantic scene going on here"Arthur said mockingly and Pierre walked up to him
"promise me prince Arthur that you'll never hurt her after I die"Pierre said
"why should I promise?"Arthur asked looking bored
"just consider it my last wish"Pierre said
"fine I promise..........."Arthur said before sinking his fangs into Pierre's neck and started sucking his blood greedily and the boy let out a piercing scream
"stop this madness Arthur, now,if the elders find out what you are doing they'll make sure you pay dearly for it"king Alexander said
"what foolish elders, I am a prince and I get to decide for myself not that group of stupid old men who thinks they know everything about the existence of we vampires"Arthur said before sinking his fangs back to Pierre's neck and continued drinking until the boy's dead body fell on the floor and paloma quickly rushed to him crying, Arthur licked his bloody lips before he sat down on a chair
"now you come here"he said to paloma
"no leave me alone you monster"she said
"you won't hurt her Arthur you made a promise to Pierre"queen Avery said
"that was a fake promise moreover he is dead now how can he know if I hurt this foolish human"he said
"just leave me alone you monster okay, you think I'm scared of you but guess what I'm not"she said before she started running but Arthur quickly used his vampire speed to drag her back by her hair and she screamed
"you are one stupid thing and I'm going to teach you a lesson"Arthur said tightening his hold on her hair
"stop that Arthur"queen Avery said going to stop him but he pushed her away
"this human needs to be taught a good lesson and I'm going to enjoy punishing you"he said hitting and beating her like an animal
"let me go"she said but instead he grabbed a fork and stabbed it on her hand and she screamed in pain,he hurt her with so many other things and her screams were becoming unbearable and everyone was giving me pleading eyes and begging me to help but I didn't know what to do but I knew I needed to try
"Arthur"I said with the softest voice I could make and held his shoulder and he seemed to be relaxing so I continued
"Arthur please stop"I said again and he stopped what he was doing to her and flung my hand away like they burnt him
"do not touch me"he said
"Damon"he said to one of the guards
"yes prince Arthur"Damon said
"take this stupid thing to the dungeons and don't provide anything for her until I tell you to do so"he said
"what if I tell him to do otherwise?"king Alexander asked but he didn't reply instead he left for his room.
