THE MOST POWERFUL

CHAPTER 42~RUBY'S POV

              When I arrived at the palace I sat down on the couch in my room thinking, I didn't understand a thing but the most important question was 'who was Jessica?' but I had to first find out what carrie needed Arthur's blood for
"hey ruby"Fiona said coming into my room
"hey fiona"I said and she smiled sitting on my bed
"what are you doing?"she asked
"nothing"I said
"why nothing?"she asked and I raised up my eyebrow
"what do you mean?"I asked
"I'm so bored and I thought you'll be doing something interesting"she said
"can I ask you a question fiona?"I asked
"of course you can"she said
"why do you think someone might want to gain possession of a royals blood?"I asked
"why the question?"she asked confused
"don't worry I saw something like that somewhere"I said
"oh"she said
"I just need to know"I said
"a royals blood is very powerful and can be used for disastrous things if it is in the wrong hands especially if a powerful witch gets hold of any of our blood then she will become extraordinarily powerful that no supernatural being would be able to defeat her"Fiona said and it made sense,Carrie needed Arthur's blood for a woman called Jessica to help her become powerful but the question was why? I didn't want fiona to suspect anything so I didn't ask her any question again.
             There was a knock on the door and without the person waiting for response the person walked in
"you can't barge into girls room like that"Fiona said
"I don't have time for this fight Fiona,we need your help ruby"he said
"with what?"I asked
"Arthur has started his killing again"he said
"what"I said
"we need you to help calm him down ruby, the guards are trying to hold him so he doesn't leave the palace"Adam said
"where is he"I asked and Fiona nodded
"I'll show you to him"he said and led us outside of the palace where Arthur was seen fighting with Some of the guards,he was either tearing or biting whoever came closer to him
"Arthur!!!"I said stopping him from ripping the head of one of the guards that came closer to him and he looked at me with such anger that I couldn't explain
"what do you think you are doing?"I asked looking really sad
"so you went to call the pretty hero who would save them from my wrath alright then ruby try and stop me from killing them"he said with a smirk and all the guards around started looking scared,he aimed at one of them with his claws and ripped off his head to the shock of every one he grabbed another one and did the same thing by this time I was receiving pleading gazes from everyone so I tried my best as usual
"you will stop this madness Arthur"I said with seriousness in my voice, I wondered why they thought I could do anything when they haven't seen Arthur and I relate like mates
"they called you to help but you are not doing a good job at it"he said and grabbed another one but this time I wasn't letting him,he was killing innocent people for nothing
"STOP!!!!" I screamed grabbing his hands and flinging him away
"now your hero has decided to show herself how nice"he said and I glared at him
"why are you doing this?"I asked and he rolled his eyes
"I don't have time for this, your questions wouldn't save them ruby but not today anymore I'm leaving cause I have somewhere to be at"he said and made to leave but I drew him back with a glare
"you have to stop whatever you are doing Arthur, you are hurting everyone"I said and he held my hands and came closer to me while I just stared at him
"like I said earlier ruby maybe I didn't make myself clear enough, I've got somewhere to be and I mean somewhere very important so excuse me"he said and left leaving everywhere bloody so the maids came to clean the place up but I was surprised at the sudden behavior of Arthur and I knew I had to bring him back cause I was the reason for this, even though I wasn't sure if I loved him I had to fix what I damaged.
