This story begins with Goku training at Kami's look out to preparing to fight Piccolo Jr when a very curious girl comes to live at Kami's look out.
Her name is Midori-ko she is a fire dragon from a place known as Dragon Realm visiting to study all...
" Hey mom." Gohan opened the door to Goku's hospital room with one arm. Since the other was in a sling
" Shhh your father is asleep." Midori-ko looks up from her book and smiles whispering to Gohan
" Is he going to be okay?" Gohan asks looking at a sleeping Goku
" Before we know it." She nods
Gohan smiles and walks over to his mom and hugs her as tight as he could with one arm.
" I missed you so much mom." Gohan tells her
" I missed you too." Midori-ko held Gohan to her "I'm proud of you Gohan."
" Yeah?" He looks up at her
" Yes you've grown so much on me this last year." She says picking Gohan up to sit on her lap "Gosh look at you." Midori-ko smiles brushing hair out of his eyes
" Do I need a haircut?" Gohan asks
" Once you're better." Midori-ko smiles "You look so much like your father."
" Krillin said he thought I was him... well I think he meant I look like dad when he was my age." Gohan explains to Midori-ko and to himself
" Well yes." She smiles "No one can say you're not Goku's son." Midori-ko says
" Mom." Gohan fidgets
" Yes buby?"
" I have a lot of questions." Gohan picks at his finger nails
" I have the time." Midori-ko held his hand correcting the behavior
"Are you a dragon?" Gohan looks up
" I was wanting to tell you at my own pace." Midori-ko says "But yeah I'm a dragon."
" So I'm half dragon half Saiyan?" Gohan asks
" That's right." Midori-ko nods "I have questions about these Saiyan's."
" Me too." Gohan smiles
" For the longest time I believed your father was related to Sun Wu Kong but I guess he's an alien." Midori-ko softly laughs
" I'm quite a mutt, huh?" Gohan giggles
" The cutest mutt I've ever seen." Midori-ko tickles him careful of Gohan's bandages
They laughed a little not noticing Goku's eyes were open. He watched them quietly.
" Mom." Gohan looks up having another question
" Yes?"
" I...I where's my baby brother or sister?" Gohan's eyes on Midori-ko's belly
" Well." Midori-ko cleared her throat "It was no one's fault but." Midori-ko inhales feeling all the moisture in her body well up in her eyes
" But what?" Gohan gripped his mom's hand
" Gohan sometimes babies don't always make it and as much as I don't like it...." Midori-ko pauses not being able to hold in the tears looking at her first born.
Gohan's eyes widened the news hitting him. Gohan clinged to his mother.
