This story begins with Goku training at Kami's look out to preparing to fight Piccolo Jr when a very curious girl comes to live at Kami's look out.

Midori-ko opened her eyes slowly still feeling worn out from charging at Moro so fiercely. Her eyes met Goku's and he smiled brightly as he held her close to his chest.
"Goku!" Midori-ko hugs him getting him to hug her back "Oh Goku I thought I'd lost you." Tears instantly flowed
"Thanks to Dende we're saved." Goku smiles at Dende as he was healing Piccolo
"Dende?" Midori-ko looks over wiping tears from her eyes
"Hey Midori-ko." Dende doesn't look up
"Gohan!" Midori-ko let go of Goku seeing Gohan was up and moving too. Midori-ko hugs her first born son
"I'm okay mom." Gohan smiles
"When I saw that horrible man hurt my baby boy I lost it." Midori-ko began crying again
"Mom I'm okay." Gohan laughs
"You didn't lose it when he fisted my chest?" Goku whines
"Why'd you have to say it like that dad." Gohan sighs
"Seeing both my husband and oldest son being attacked like that was beyond horrible...I haven't felt that mad since Namek." Midori-ko smiles at Goku and Gohan
"Too bad you can't rip Moro in half mom like you did Recoome." Gohan smirks
"That was the idiots name?" Midori-ko asks
"You don't remember Recoome?" Gohan asks
"I remember you lying on the ground broken and me wanting to destroy whoever hurt my baby." Midori-ko reflects
"If I'd let her she would have pulled the wings off Cell." Goku chuckles
"Let's not talk about that." Midori-ko narrows her eyes
"Fair enough." Goku sighs looking at Gohan
"What?" Gohan asks
"You've come a long way son." Goku smiles
"You too dad." Gohan smiles "And mom you're doing great against Moro too."
"Yeah sure." Midori-ko sighs "I'm nothing compared to your father so much for training." She mumbles
"Yeah no kidding." Gohan laughs
"Speaking of... where's Moro?!" Goku rushed to his feet
"He's battling the Angel." Dende shares still healing Piccolo
"The angel?! You don't mean...Merus?!" Goku calls to Merus
"I'm afraid I don't know his name." Dende says
"Damn it what could he be thinking?" Goku exhales "If any angel fights for real outside of training they're doomed to disappear."Goku stresses
"Huh?"
"Dende take care of these guys okay?" Goku orders
"I I will." Dende nods the look on Goku's face made Dende nervous
"Thanks as always Kami." Goku smiles brightly at Dende before taking off
