They were relaxing together next to the healing tank Goku was resting and getting healed in. Gohan didn't miss the chance to cuddle up to his mother. Midori-ko knew Gohan felt most relaxed when she held him. She had to remind herself Gohan was still a 5 year old boy and needed his parents.
" Yes." Midori-ko asks regretting giving Gohan a bowl cut
" If dad had ended up with Ginyu's body would you still love him?" Gohan asks
" That's a strange question." Midori-ko chuckles, even Vegeta snickered from across the room
" Well would you?" Gohan asks
" We're married so of course I would still love your father." Midori-ko smiles
" Would you still kiss dad?" Gohan asks
" Well luckily we don't have to worry about that?" Midori-ko laughs
" So you wouldn't?" Gohan frowns
" Gohan I married your father for better or for worse so look at it this way if your father was in a terrible accident and was horribly disfigured I'd still love him and still kiss him." Midori-ko reassures Gohan

" You would still love Kakarrot if he looked like Ginyu?" Vegeta smirks
" It would be an adjustment because Goku's very handsome and fit." Midori-ko smiles getting Gohan to smile "But yes I would still love him he would still be my Goku."
" What did Kakarrot do to earn such loyalty?" Vegeta asks
" Well Goku can be obstinate, bull headedly difficult with the worst manners you could ever possibly imagine but he's also brave and kind and loyal to a fault I love him more than anything besides our son of course." Midori-ko pauses to look at Gohan "So that's why."
" Do you have a wife Vegeta?" Gohan asks
" No woman is strong enough to be mine." Vegeta rolls his eyes
" My dad says there's someone for everyone." Gohan says
" He can easily say that when he's married to a oversized fire breathing lizard." Vegeta retorts
" Dragon." Gohan corrects him
" Gohan." Midori-ko smiles "Vegeta aided us be polite to him."
" Yes mom." Gohan pouts
" Do you want me to show the first power I learned?" Midori-ko asks distracting Gohan
" Yeah!" Gohan sits up and faces Midori-ko
