"We should be getting back." Goku says putting his gi shirt back on

" Yeah I'm sure you have a ton of stuff you want to do with your 24 hours." Midori-ko doesn't look at him when she says it

"Yup, it's more than I ever expected I'd get." Goku adjusts his clothes now fully dressed

" No kidding." Midori-ko buttons up her shirt

" Hey." Goku puts a hand on her shoulder getting her to look at him "It hasn't been easy for me either."

"Yeah ok sure it hasn't." Midori-ko rolls her eyes "If I remember..." Midori-ko stops seeing the somber look in Goku's eyes and stops complaining

"I'm sorry I know now is  not the time to be bitching at you, I should just be happy you're here

"I'm sorry I know now is  not the time to be bitching at you, I should just be happy you're here.  Cause look you're standing right in front of me and I just love you so much and I miss you every day." Midori-ko starts crying again getting Goku to hold her

" I miss you so much it hurts but you know I have to live with my decision to stay dead." Goku tells her Midori-ko barely listens. She was trying to hold back a panic attack.
Goku feeling Midori-ko's energy held her tighter for a moment.
" Come on let's get you something to eat." Goku took Midori-ko by the hand leading her to the food court.

The warmth from his hand was making her feel a little better Midori-ko wanted today to last forever.

" When was the last time we had fair corn dogs?" Goku asks walking over with the food to Midori-ko who was sitting down at a table.

" It's been some years." Midori-ko picked one corn dog up

" I forgot how much I loved living here." Goku looks around the food court, she knew he was talking about Earth but Goku had always been a people person too.

" You were right Goku." Midori-ko looks down at the food basket "It's been more peaceful with you g-gone." She blinks tears dripping from her eyes.
Goku placed his hand over hers.
Midori-ko's eyes went to his wedding band.
" You still wear your wedding ring?"

" Yeah why wouldn't I?" Goku asks

" I...I don't know." Midori-ko fidgets

" Get any silly thoughts out of your head I'm yours until the end of time remember." Goku smiles
