#Nine

When Kally and Nova left the sergozards, Kally couldn't believe what was happening with her. Her body was already changing drastically, but now she also had the power to heal. Her eyes changed from the blood Hajjar had given her. Her arms mutated because of Sovack. Now, she could only wonder what might happen next.

"Now that all of this is behind us, where do you think you'll go?" Nova asked Kally.

Kally sighed. "All I want to do right now is to find Hajjar and Sovack."

"Who?" Nova wondered.

Kally started to tell her story. How she first encountered Hajjar until she woke up in the glass cell. The only thing she didn't mention was how she truly felt about Hajjar.

"With what you just told me, it confirms that you are the real chosen one." Nova couldn't believe she had finally found her.

Kally tilted her head to the side. "It's not the first time you've told me this. Why are you so sure I'm the chosen one?"

"My grandmother explained to me that the blue eyes meant the potential to be the chosen one. All the other falrowvens have black eyes except me. Everyone thought that I was the reincarnation of our goddess. But granny theorized I had the potential to be the one. She thought that there was probably one with blue eyes in each of the four races. I think she was right because we know the previous sergozard queen had already executed the one in their colony."

"There's also the pangarion, but she's dead," Kally informed Nova.

Nova raised her eyebrows, "how do you know that?"

Kally shrugged, "she was Hajjar's mate. He told me about her, well not her in particular. He just said that she died."

"It only remains to see if there's a quibasson like us." Nova looked at Kally. "The thing I don't understand is you. You are not part of any clans and yet, you possess the aspect of the pangarions and the sergozards and I'm curious what you will get from me?"

Kally sighed. "To tell you the truth I don't know where I come from. As for satisfying your curiosity, are you sure you want to find out? Once it's done, your life will be tied to mine. You will have to follow me wherever I go. Are you ready to make that kind of sacrifice?" Kally wanted to be sure this was what Nova wanted.

Nova nodded, "my entire life I was preparing for this."

"So how do you want to proceed with this?" Kally finally asked her.

Nova stretched out her arm. Kally took it and thought to herself how she was going to do this when suddenly she heard someone speak. "My Queen. I finally found you. How did you manage to escape them?"

Kally immediately let go of Nova and quickly turned to where that voice came from. Kally walked to him, hugging him. "Sovack, I'm so happy to see you. I was going to find you."

When she let go of him, she was looking around. Then her heart started to beat harder and faster. "Hajjar!" Kally whispered, smiling at him.

She ran to Hajjar. She jumped into his arms. Kally circled her arm around his neck, hugging him. Hajjar hasn't made a single move and Kally wondered if she went too far by jumping into his arms like that. She began to lose her grip when suddenly she felt Hajjar's muscular arms wrap around her petite waist.
