Grrrrr! Our growling stomachs woke us from the trance we had been in since. I hadn't realized how hungry I was. "Guess we should go get something to eat", Sebastian laughed softly and I agreed. I quickly picked up my wand from the floor and put it in my pocket. The Slytherin lifted my chin with two fingers and planted a kiss on my lips before taking my hand in his and strolling with me to the Great Hall. I felt like everyone who came towards us was staring at the clasped hands. "But our date tomorrow is still up, isn't it?", Sebastian asked as we walked through the aisles. "D-date? Umm... yes. I guess so. I still owe you a Butterbeer, after all." "Great", he grinned. "I wanted to show you something." "Well, I'm curious." Sebastian opened the huge door to the filled Great Hall and then it shot into my head like a deadly arrow: How do we behave now? Are we sitting together? Are we pretending nothing happened? Do we kiss? As if reading my mind, Sebastian asked me, "Would you like to sit at the Slytherin table with me today?" I thought about it for a moment and my gaze wandered to the Gryffindor table, where my friends were already sitting, saving me a seat. "Oh, I'd like to sit next to you, Sebastian, but..." "Your friends are waiting. I understand. Then maybe at breakfast tomorrow?", the brunette suggested, giving me a crooked smile while pulling my waist towards him. I put my hands on his chest and straightened his tie. "That sounds good. Shall we meet later in the Room of Requirement? I wouldn't mind your company tonight." "Sounds tempting. Won't we go there right now?" Sebastian winked at me. "Sorry, Sebastian, but you don't stand a chance against food." The Slytherin sighed. "Okay. See you later then." He pulled me even closer to him and kissed me in front of the whole school. My face could have rivalled an overripe tomato with excitement, and I dazedly trotted to my spot between Poppy and Natty.
My friends all gaped at me. "What in Merlin's dirty underpants was that?" Cressida was the first to break the silence. With a big grin, I sat down on the wooden bench. "A kiss", I laughed nervously. "We've all seen that, but... How? Where? When? Why? So why is clear, but how, where and when not." "Now don't be so nosy, Cressida!" Nellie rolled her eyes and then leaned forward, eyebrows waggling and a mischievous grin on her face. "But what we're all probably curious about is how was it?" Beside her, Cressida folded her arms across her chest. "Who's nosy here, huh?" "I guess the kiss was good because that won't have been the first one. Right, Y/N?" Natty asked with a knowing smile on her face and I lost patience. "Now let me have my say! You pester me with questions and don't even give me a second to catch my breath!" I took a deep breath and then smiled coquettishly. "It was nice. That's all I'm going to say." Cressida and Nellie simultaneously raised their arms in the air. "Oh come on! At least give us some details!" Cressida scolded. "Who kissed whom first?" Nellie nodded in agreement and she and Cressida took turns asking: "Where were his hands?" "Where were your hands?" "Were tongues involved?" Annoyed, I banged my fist on the table. "Damn it, stop it! I won't tell you any more details. And if you carry on like this, I won't tell you anything ever again and I'll sit down with the Slytherins instead." The two cheeky monkeys gave me a guilty look and bowed their heads. My gaze wandered past them to said Slytherin table, where Sebastian was sitting in his usual place, looking over at me in amusement. A slight smile crept onto my lips and I shook my head, breaking our eye contact. Hungry, I shovelled a mountain of fried potatoes onto my plate and started to eat. I was so emaciated by all the excitement I could have eaten a whole Graphorn.
After dinner, I just wanted to scurry to my dorm to gather some things for the night in the Room of Requirement, but Poppy gently pulled me aside by the hand. We stood in front of the four large hourglasses that showed the current state of the house points. Hufflepuff was only just ahead. My friend smiled softly at me and wrapped me in a hug. "I'm glad you guys seem to have spoken out. Sebastian heard that I called after you and ran straight after you." How long did he watch me? Poppy pulled away from me and took my hands in hers. "I'm so happy for you, Y/N!" The Hufflepuff jumped up and down excitedly, then suddenly turned serious. "But if he turns out to be a total asshole, you'll let me know, okay?" I gave a short laugh. "Thanks, Poppy. I'll get back to that." "Shall we meet the others in the tea corner in a minute?" Poppy's eyes sparkled hopefully. "Sorry, Poppy, not today. I meet up with Sebastian." I scratched the back of my neck nervously. The Hufflepuff's eyes lit up even more. "I understand. Have fun, then", she squeaked. "Thanks, I'll have that", I laughed happily and said goodbye to my friend to walk to the dorm.
