I woke up Saturday morning after my long nap. The time is 10:30 am. I laid in bed thinking about last night with Jay. She was so assertive in a way. And how come I didn't know about her being Mark's cousin? I checked my phone and it was a message from Jay.

Jay 💋: gm ! Rise and shine!

Me: good morning ☀️

Jay 💋: what plans you got today?

Me: me and my friends brother is about to play some games. He's really sick right now he has a serious illness

Jay 💋: oh no! Poor baby! Cherish those moments fr 💙

Me: yeah. We just trynna make him happy. But I'll be at the venue later on. Will you be there?

Jay 💋: I wasn't planning too but I can. What time u gone be there?

Me: around 7:30ish

Jay 💋: imma be there by 8 then.

Me: cool

Jay 💋: I'll text u later when I'm there

Me: alright

I went to my call log to look for Lyric's number. Trynna see what time she wants to come. I may even pick her up since we're going to the party together later on.

"Hello?"

"Good morning. What you doing?" I asked, putting her on speaker phone and looking for clothes to wear.

"Just up making breakfast for Keenan. Hey, what time you want me to come over?"

"I might just get you guys because since we're going to the party together, we might as well go together,"

"Okay good. Guess imma be a passenger princess today! What time you coming?"

"Does one o'clock sound okay?"

"Yes it does. I'll get Keenan ready,"

"Okay and don't forget about the gaming party tonight. Dress comfortable, be ready to have fun and meet people,"

"I didn't forget. I'm looking forward to it. You think Keenan will be able to go one day?"

"Yeah! For sure. How about next time?"

"Of course! I'm trynna make sure he has all the fun he can,"

"I'll be over in about an hour, okay?"

"Yeah. Call me when you get here,"

Des and Monty were at work just having a regular shift. Right now, they were on their assigned breaks. Monty was sitting in the dinning area at fried rice place a few stores down. He was on his phone watching YouTube as he started his 30 minute break. Des came in shortly after and joined him eating his food he had bought from the store.
