Keira's POV:
During camp 2, we trained, hung out in the chill room, did a small sided tournament which Niamh, Steph, Ellen, Mary, Leah and Meado won and they made that very clear. We all competed in a tournament of head tennis which started out as fun and games and then it turned competitive which you can't really expect a group of professional football players not to make it competitive. Lucy Staniforth, Tooney and Zel won somehow.
We had a day dedicated to doing different media things. I was doing an interview when I suddenly heard two little feet running over to me. I turned around and was met with Elleã looking up at me and reaching up to be lifted. I looked at the interviewer and asked "is it ok if I pick her up ?", they answered immediately with a yes. I picked Elleã up and she immediately wrapped her arms round my neck and cuddled into me. The interviewer then spoke up saying, "you've got a bit of a different camp experience to everyone because you've got your daughters here, what's that like having them on camp with you ?", I looked at Elleã before answering " yeah I do have a bit of a different camp then the rest of the team, but that doesn't change my ability perform the same as everyone else, having them here is great, they both love hanging out with the team and everyone gets along great. The staff and Sarina are great in the way that they are all so helpful and whenever I need to look after the girls they are always so understanding so it's great having them here". We continue with the interview and then finally the interviewer looks at Elleã and asks her "are you excited to watch your mum play ?", Ellie just looks back at them and then looks up at me, "you excited to watch me and mumma play football ?", I ask her and she nods before cuddling into me and turning away. The interviewer thanks me for my time and then the interview is over. I thank them and then walk away over to the group that stood at a rest station with snacks and drinks. I grab a bottle of water with Elleã still in my arms and stand next to Mary and chat to her about what she's been up to. Elleã started squirming in my arms and I just let her move about in my arms, she then spotted Mary and started waving at her wildly. "Hi Ellie", Mary spoke to her, she then spoke to me, "it's her birthday next month right ?", "yep, I think Lucy's more excited for the prospect of the cake, then Ellie is about her birthday", I replied back chuckling. Mary just laughed with me, a few of the other girls who were nearby came over and asked what was funny, I explained and they all found it funny. "Sounds just like Bronzey", Tooney chuckled.
After media, I decided to go out on a walk, Charlie said she wanted to come with me and so did Ellie. I grabbed the stroller, even though Ellie insisted that she was going to walk the whole way, but I knew from past experiences that I was better bringing it just in case. I hadn't seen Luce all day even at lunch, so I texted her to tell her we were off on a walk and we wouldn't be that long. As we headed down the hallway we bumped into to Alex, Chloe, Roebuck and Katie. "Where are you guys off to ?", Alex asked, Charlie piped up "we're going on a walk", she then turned to me and asked "can we bring a football to play ?", "yeah we'll grab one on our way out, do you guys wanna come with us ?", I ask the girls, they all nod their heads and we all start heading out for our walk. When we reach the football pitches Charlie grabs the football from underneath the stroller and starts kicking it about, she starts passing it with Alex and Chloe, before Roebuck suggest they do who can hit the crossbar challenge. Katie stands chatting with me, while Elleã swings from my arms, "mama play", she says, I look down at her "what are we gonna play ?", I ask her, she runs over to the stroller and grabs the smaller football we keep in there for her and runs back over to me putting the ball on the ground and looks up at me and Katie "football !!", she squeals kicking the ball towards me. Me and Katie chuckle at her enthusiasm and we pass the ball between us. While Katie is about to pass the ball to me, Elleã kicks the ball away from her. Charlie runs over and picks her little sister up and shouts "yes Ellie, you won the ball off Katie", Elleã just squeals and tries to wriggle out of her sisters arms, Charlie lets her down and goes back to kicking the football with the others while Elleã kicks the football back over to me, I pass it back to Katie who starts doing keepie uppies. Elleã comes over and sits in between my feet. I look down at her and say "are you tired baby girl ?", she just nods her head and then lies down between my legs. I bend down and pick her up and she immediately snuggled into my chest. I just rock her back and forth, until she falls asleep and I gently place her in her stroller, she starts to wake up, but I gently push the stroller and it lulls her back to sleep again. I then feel to arms wrap around my waist and turn my head to see Lucy looking at me lovingly. She plants a kiss on my cheek before looking down at the toddler asleep in the stroller. "Hey" I say quietly, while continuing to gently push the stroller to keep Elleã asleep. "Hey, how's your day been ?" Lucy asks matching my volume, "it was good, had a few interviews, had a laugh with the girls, just been on a walk and now we're here", I tell her, looking over at Charlie trying to tackle Katie, who had joined their game. "What have you been up to, I feel like I haven't seen you all day", I ask her, she turns to look at me before answering, " I had a meeting with my lawyer that lasted a while" she tells me. I turn around in her arms and look at her before asking gently "any updates ?", she looks at me before shaking her head and turning me back around in her arms and hugging me from behind with her head resting on my shoulder, giving me a quick kiss to my neck. I relax in her arms immediately. We stand there for a while just watching Charlie play with the girls and pushing Elleã in the stroller.
Once the girls come back over with Charlie, we all head inside as Charlie tells Lucy about how Elleã had gotten the ball of Katie, well she told it a bit more exaggerated than how it happened but nonetheless we all laughed again.
We all went into the chill room, where we were met with a buzz of chatter and laughs. Some people were playing pool, others were playing what looked like a vicious game of ping pong, Hempo and Keets were playing darts and anyone else not doing any of their activities were sat on the beanbags chatting. I walked over with the stroller to sit with Leah, Less and Steph. I sit their chatting with them, Lucy goes over to play darts with Hempo and Keets and Charlie starts cheering for Jill who looks like she's losing terribly in a game of pool.
Nothing else really happens the rest of camp 2 and at the end of it we get a few days off, which we all spend with Lucy's brother and his wife and kids.
