Princess Saera Velaryon had always been the sweetest of girls. She was kind, dutiful, and innocent. She had been raised to be the epitome of kindness and perfection.
Trailing after Saera was her twin brother, Jacaerys Velaryon. He was always there for her, there to love her, to dote on her, and to protect her. Saera loved him endlessly, more than words could explain. Even if at times, she felt his attention sort of choking and overbearing.
Saera never felt like a Targaryen, having an egg that never hatched unlike her brother's, and she never felt like a Velaryon. Though she did feel like an Arryn, and she thrived with that side of her family.
Saera wanted to find herself. She wanted to feel different, to be free. And perhaps the only person that she felt freedom with is with her cruel uncle.
