"No! I will not! Tell the Queen I will not!" Saera kicked and screamed at Elinda like a petulant child. The lady in waiting was growing gray hairs at her young age because of the stubbornness of the Velaryon princess.

She was chasing Saera around her chambers, trying to get her to dress for supper— as the Queen Alicent had requested Saera's presence at the royal table like any other day. But obviously Saera would rather jump off the balcony than sit at dinner with Aemond after their library encounter.

Elinda huffed, "Princess, you already missed supper yesterday! The Queen orders you to attend on this day! Tis her royal orders says Talya." She told Saera.

"I do not care for her royal orders! I do not wish to have supper with them! Tell her no! I will not!" Saera exclaimed, running away from Elinda who was begrudgingly following her, trying to get Saera to put on one of her dinner dresses.

Elinda was losing her patience, when she was picked to accompany the princess to King's Landing she never once thought it would be such a difficult task. She figured the princess was agreeable, but it turned out to be the opposite.

"You tell her then! You go to the Queen and explain why you're being such a petulant little brat!" Elinda finally burst, causing Saera to stop her movements and turn back to the lady in sheer shock.

Saera's face contorted in horror, "Oh Elinda! I am so sorry! I apologize for my behavior!" She said quickly, rushing to take Elinda's hands in hers in a sweet gesture.

Elinda seemed to be in shock, she expected Saera to blow up at her, and her kindness only made her feel terrible for her rude words. "No... I apologize, princess. I misspoke, you are nothing but good and kind. I am just stressed." Elinda apologized with a soft tone on her voice.

"Would it make you feel better if I went tonight?" Saera asked selflessly, she would hate nothing more than making Elinda stress.

"Yes. It would, princess. It would mean I will not have Talya questioning me on the morrow on the Queen's behalf." Elinda sighed and gave her a small pleading smile. Saera took a small breath and nodded her head slowly.

"Fine. Dress me then." She ordered and moved to stand in front of her looking glass. Elinda sigehd in relief and dressed Saera in a dress of her own choice, a blue and white gown, one that Saera adored and would often wear in Dragonstone.

Saera thought she looked pretty, and then Elinda helped her ready her hair for the evening. She wore her usual half up-half down hairstyle and was ready to go, but she truly felt way too nervous for the evening. How was she supposed to face Aemond after their little scene in the library?
