She ran. Saera ran so very fast. Something chased her, something so very bad.

The halls of the Red Keep were empty and dark and she could hear footsteps running after her. Her heart was thundering in her chest as she turned a corner, meeting with a dead end. She panted, tears brimming her eyes as she stared at the wall.

The footsteps stopped right behind her, and when she turned— she let out a blood curling scream. Aemond reacted by grabbing her shoulders and slamming her against the wall, Saera thrashed, clawing at his face but his force was too strong. He shook her, anger in his one eye. Saera cried, "please let me go!"

Her husband laughed and slammed her harder into the wall, hitting her head against it and shattering the cement.

Saera fell into a precipice, screaming, arms flailing— trying to reach for Aemond— for anything to hold on too. She fell through the sky with the force of a thousand dragons. She thrashed and screamed, thunder rumbling as she free falled.

She tried desperately to hold unto thin air, until she hit the water— cold, freezing water. Everything was dark as she tried gasping for air, thrashing her very hardest to get back to the surface but she couldn't. As much as she tried swimming, the surface only got farther and farther away. She let out a silent scream as she felt the water in her lungs, and then a grip— a harsh grip came forth on her ankle.

Horrified screams were muffled by water when she looked down, only to see Jacaerys holding her ankle— he was holding Lucerys, holding him by a fistful of his hair and he... he was dead. Her little brother was chopped in half as if something had taken a bite from him.

Saera thrashed and wailed, trying to get her twin brother to release her— but to no avail, his grip was iron hard as he dragged her futher into the depths of the water. She struggled as she sank deeper and deeper, screaming, clawing for air as she sunk.

"Saera!" She was shaken awake by Aemond, who was looking down at her with fear and confusion etched on his face. Saera panted, trying to calm down as she came down from that awful nightmare, that awful dream. Aemond pulled her closer, but in return she pushed him off. He had hurt her in her dream.

"What is going on, Aemond?" Saera croaked out, her eyes scanning their bedchamber as she tried to control her breathing.

Aemond frowned. "You had a nightmare, sweet love. But it was all in your head..." he said softly, his fingers moving to comb through her long locks of brown hair. "No. What is going on? Why did Criston come here and tell me he was my father? Why were you gone all day? Where is my mother? Why couldn't I leave today? Where is Allan and where is Elinda?"

Aemond was taken back by all of her sudden questions. It was basically dawn and he could not sleep at all that night, then she started squirming and screaming in her dreams. And now she was asking the real hard questions. "You must trust me," was what he answered, giving her the sort of tone that was supposed to keep her from asking further questions.
