"What are you reading?" Saera closed the book and hid it as soon as she heard her oldest uncle's voice. Saera looked up at Aegon and swallowed hard, giving him a small smile to throw him off.

"Nothing. What are you doing here?" She asked him, looking around the secluded spot of the gardens. Where she thought she would have privacy. "Tis a beautiful day in King's Landing." Aegon said with a hint of sarcasm. "And my mother berated me to wake up and do something with myself."

"Alright... well I was reading my book and I hate being disturbed..." Saera trailed, hoping that Aegon would take the hint and leave her alone with her depraved thoughts. Aegon eyed the book she was seemingly hiding and frowned. "What do you read?" He asked with a raised brow.

"A tale of Old Valyria and dragons." Saera lied as she looked up at Aegon through her lashes. He shook his head and puffed a breath, leaning down and snatching the book from her grasp. Saera gasped and covered her face, embarrased to be found out reading such a scandalous book. Aegon whistled when he saw the title, then a huge grin overtook his face.

"Does this embarrass you?" Aegon chuckled as he handed the book back to his niece. Saera nodded as she covered her face with her hands, then she looked at Aegon through her fingers. "Oh come on, Saera. That is tame compared to raunchier works I've seen." Aegon said.

"There's more?!" Saera gasped, her mouth gaping open as she looked at her uncle. The blonde man moved to sit down next to her and nodded. "Much worse, more detailed... overall better." Aegon answered, making Saera gulp. Aegon eyed her for a moment and then he bit his lip.

"I could show you? I have some in my rooms I could give you." Aegon offered with a charming smile. Saera looked away for a moment and then back to Aegon. She could trust him... He was her uncle. Family doesn't hurt family, intentionally.

"Yes please. But you must not tell anyone, uncle. It is not proper for me to be so... curious." Saera said softly, looking at Aegon with pleading eyes.

"Oh I am a tomb, little niece. A tomb. Come on." Aegon stood up and extended his hand out to lift her up. Then Saera followed him through the corridors of the Red Keep, and up to his chambers in Maegor's Holdfast. She was glad that Allan was training on that morning, and not following her like usual.

Aegon lead her inside his chambers, not before checking to make sure nobody was watching. He did not need another scolding for treating with his niece. Then he shut the door behind himself swiftly.

Saera looked around the room with a scrunched up nose. It was messy, his mattress was on the floor, there was books and goblets scattered everywhere, and weirdly shaped wooden toys laid around.  It also reeked of muddy water and sweat. "Must be around here..." Aegon huffed as he rummaged through some cloaks that were clustered around his bed. Aemond's room was much nicer than Aegon's by far. It was clean and elegant, unlike the one she stood in.
