After Josiah said those words to her she knew it was time to either grant his wish or just leave once and for all and she felt like she wanted to die but at the same time she knows that she has to make life better for her kids.

Mani just walked upstairs and started to pack her bags she didn't say anything she just packed up her car with her belongings that she could get in the car and left. To where she doesn't know yet but she can't stay in New York anymore she has to go away.

Maybe I should go to Houston. It's a new start and I could expand my business. It's a 24 hour drive from this house to Houston.

After a while of Mani riding around trying to clear her mind she decided that she was going to go to her brothers house not to stay or anything but just to talk. This time it wasn't Quan that she needed to confide in.

I'm in my living room watching tv probably bout to order some food. Then all of a sudden there were soft knocks on my door and I scrunched up my face tryna think who tf could be at my door. It bet not be Aaliyah bruh Istg. After I opened the door to Mani I let her in ofc cause that's my lil sister by like 3 minutes and 2 seconds. She looked like she was going through some shit. So I guess imma listen to her talk.

After 2 hours she leaves her brothers house feeling relaxed. Relaxed enough to go to Shanty and Dylan's house to talk to them.

After Josiah told her to die I couldn't say anything. Not because I didn't want to but it really shocked me that he would say something like that to her AGAIN knowing that she suffers with a personality disorder, anxiety, and depression. Honestly it makes me question if he ever really cared about her or if he just wanted to constantly get in her pants and have her around because he knew she would stay.
