The familiar foliage filled entrance to Gidae University welcomed him in.
Despite cars lining up the streets and the parking lots, there was something so serene about it.
Seonghwa rolled down his car window, letting the summer breeze whip through his bleached blond hair.
After weaving through several streets, he arrived at the Grand Apartments, his place of residence for his last year in college.
He gazed at the four tall buildings, smiling softly.
The coed housing had been his home since sophomore year, and he felt a little wistful that this would be the last time he would be moving his stuff into the place.
The tall trees lining the complex granted him shade as he pulled in.
There were already a crowd of students flocking around, chatting with each other.
Some were milling around the fountain centerpiece, sweating from the heat.
However, one loud voice brought him back to reality.
"Why the fuck is that dude driving a pink car?"
Park Seonghwa rolled his eyes as he tried to find a parking spot in the complex.
The outburst from a passing college student didn't surprise him at all.
This was a daily occurrence.
His pink Mini Cooper always garnered attention from those around him.
However, most of the attention was on the fact that Seonghwa was a guy, proud of having such a car.
Seonghwa didn't really care enough to defend his choice in the custom paint job.
This was his last year at Gidae University, and quite possibly his last year in Seoul as well.
He had too many things as a senior to worry about, and judgmental comments from random punks wasn't one of them.
Seonghwa managed to squeeze into a parking space a little ways away from the apartment building he had been assigned to.
Moving day was always hectic, and the swarm of students mixed with the mid-August heat made it worse.
Seonghwa rolled up his window and shut the engine off.
He ran a hand through his hair as he reached into the glove compartment to pull out his room assignment and instructions.
"Apartment Building C, Room 208." Seonghwa murmured to himself. "I wonder if my roomie is there yet..."
His roommate this year was a junior by the name of Choi San.
The two conversed briefly by text when they found out they would be rooming together.
Seonghwa was a bit wary at first, since his luck with getting decent roommates had been shit.
The fact that San was a music major concerned him a bit as well.
He didn't feel like being kept up at night by various musical instruments and electronic synths.
San assured him that he would either be wearing headphones while he's composing or be in the College of Liberal Art's music studio, to Seonghwa's relief.
In turn, San teased Seonghwa not to keep him up at night by acting out scenes from Broadway plays.
That tickled Seonghwa.
Yes, he is an acting major, but he never thought about performing in musicals.
He has had vocal training, and was in the top choir all throughout high school.
He would keep musicals in mind.
Spotting a station with dollies for luggage, Seonghwa got out of his gaudy car, closed his eyes, and stretched his arms.
As soon as he opened his eyes, he was met with about twenty other pairs of eyes, all wide in shock.
Some in disgust.
Seonghwa laughed to himself.
My presence around this university is no secret.
I'm still surprised people still don't know about me.
Should I wear a sign that says 'I LIKE PASTEL FASHION'?
Distressed lilac dungarees and a baby pink quarter-sleeved shirt being worn on someone with Seonghwa's stature, let alone a man, is apparently a lot for his college peers to take in.
The dungarees hugged his hips deliciously, and the legs were rolled up just above his knees to show off his toned and smoothly shaved calves.
His pale pink combat boots completed the look.
Seonghwa snickered at the stares he was getting.
Imagine how they would react if they knew I liked guys as well.
"He's so tall and handsome, yet he's wearing girly clothes." A girl whispered to her friends.
"Wait, look at his fingernails! Are they pink?!"
"Is that eyeshadow on his face? Is that lip gloss?"
"What a fag." A guy spat.
Seonghwa smirked as he confidently strode to the dolly station.
Oh, yeah.
The Pink Princess is back, bitches!
