Wow, I didn't expect to finally finish publishing this.

This is just a note to voice some of my thoughts/decisions/ while writing this book, and some announcements for the future 😄

You know, I originally wasn't going to play hsr until I saw Dan Heng. Who knew that my friend showing me all the characters would lead to this...

Also Imbibitor Lunae was finally shown during the livestream...I am so excited to try and roll for him, HE IS SO COOL!?

Anyways, I sneakily got away with not using (Name) or (Y/N) throughout this entire book, I'm a little proud. Clever no? 🤣

I'm not sure how I managed to pull it off. I can do it easy with short stories, but this book was pretty long by my standards.

Although this is still an xreader fic, I have a pet peeve against using y/n because I feel like it just takes away from the immersion of the story a little. I always read it like "your name" instead of putting my name there hahaha.

It's so tedious for me to read and be like "your name, I mean atara" 🤣

Thus is the reason you won't find any mentions of y/n in the chapters

So when reading this book I think it's more like you're just there with the rest of the characters, they all know your name, it's just never written.

Generally I don't like to write really long stories like this, but since I wanted to fully flush out all my ideas I feel like it was needed. In one of my other books the ending definitely felt very rushed, so with this one I took my time in trying to set up a nice ending.

Originally when you reveal you were a time traveler, I had it planned that the story was going to end a few chapters after—but I kept saying "oh wait I still have to write about this" and then "oh I have a cool idea to add" and then "just one more chapter and then I can start the ending" until eventually instead of twenty chapters it was thirty hahaha. 🤣

Still I'm a little happy I was able to write so much. I really wanted to finish this before my school started up again, as I would probably forget about my works and not publish for many months. I liked this story's premise and I was very excited to share it with you all, so I can't leave you hanging like that! 🫡

Im not sure if anyone noticed but I actually took huge inspiration from a movie I had recently watched called "the girl who leapt through time" it's a very good movie so if you liked this book because of the time travel aspect I recommend giving it a watch.

Also I want to rewrite some of the early chapters. I've been reading a lot over this summer and I feel like my writing has gradually improved. So when I re-read some of those old chapters I cringe 😫 hahaha, thus I will definitely re-write and improve them.

But anyways, I don't like making my notes too long, so I want to thank you all again for reading this fic, all your votes and comments make me smile 😄
