I, Who Stutter
By: Shuri🪶
Lowering my head, try not to burst
Trying to blend in the wall
Hands on the bottom of my shirt
Awkward and scared of calls
🪶
Then I tried to change
The biggest mistake in history
In front, ready to exchange,
My voice became blurry
🪶
First step isn't my thing, it's others'
But I tried to cross that line
Facing the consequences, I who stutter
Thinking: "others can do it, so I'll be fine"
🪶
Should've stayed quiet and introverted
It's just what my life should be
Alone, lonely, and deserted
Would be the last time I'll do it
🪶
