Why did I suddenly awake in a huge fish tank? Did I get reincarnated as a fish? *Looks down at myself* ...do fishes nowadays have an upper body of a skeleton or is it just me?
Also who's the fellow skeleton mer beside me? They look like... Dream san...
'What the hell is this?' Is what I wondered as I stared at a strange looking building in the distance. I was currently observing an island where I felt the bond leading me to and felt troubled about how the heck I was going to get onto land. 'Maybe there's a secret passage way?' I guessed before deciding that I would go to search but first... looking at Blot and Kaipo behind me, I signal for them to follow me as I swim deeper into the water.
Stopping once I felt we were deep enough in the water, I turn around and feel one of my tentacles twitch in slight irritation when I see that Blot is chasing after a fish. "Bloт, Geт yoυr rαιɴвow тeɴтαcleѕ over нere!" I snap out at Blot while feeling my patience already wearing thin with him. Blot's been quite chatty and outgoing ever since staying around me and Kaipo who listened to his stories without a complaint. Lately though, that constant chattiness was bothering me as we were finally so close to where dream is. I couldn't help but feel anxious, worried, and paranoid as I thought about the what ifs. What if we get discovered because Blot screams happily about finding another sea shell or something? What if dream is hurt? What if there is no way to get to dream except by going on land? Everything would be for nothing! Who knows what they'll send out to go after me if they discover me!
'Wouldn't be surprised if they already sent out something to hunt me down or something to weaken me like when they struck me with that positivity missile..it would be even worse to get hit with anything that has positivity magic since I'm weakened with this stupid collar.' Glaring at the collar on my neck, I then resume to look at Blot who's noticed my less than happy attitude and was now waiting like an obedient puppy. "Alrιɢнт, ѕιɴce yoυr вαcĸ ғroм yoυr lιттle cнαѕe wιтн тнαт ғιѕн, I'м ɢoιɴɢ тo ɴeed вoтн oғ yoυr нelp тo ғιɴd ѕoмeтнιɴɢ, тнιɴĸ yoυr вoтн υp ғor ιт?" I ask both kaipo and blot who glance at each other before looking back at me. "I'm up for it." Kaipo says as they raise their hand before Blot shoots up excitedly and raises his hand. "I'm also up for it! I'll do my best to find whatever we're looking for!" Blot says with his tentacles swaying excitedly.
"Good, тнeɴ wнαт I ɴeed yoυ вoтн тo do ιѕ ѕιмple. Fιɴd α υɴderwαтer pαѕѕαɢe wαy oғ ѕoмe ѕorт, wнeɴ yoυ ғιɴd ιт, coмe вαcĸ нere αɴd wαιт тιll αll oғ υѕ αre ɢαтнered. No eɴтerιɴɢ ιɴтo ѕαιd pαѕѕαɢe wαy υɴтιl I deeм ιт ѕαғe, υɴderѕтood?" I say before humming in satisfaction when both give confident responses. "I'll cнecĸ тнe oтнer ѕιde oғ тнe ιѕlαɴd, ĸαιpo αɴd вloт, yoυ вoтн cнooѕe wнαт ѕιde yoυ're ѕeαrcнιɴɢ oɴ." Was all I said before turning and swimming away to head for the other side of the island, all the while making sure to stick in the dark depths of the water.
(Meanwhile with a certain mer-)
(No one POV)
One can see a mer with a beautiful yellow tail with hints of black as they swam in the tank they are held in with an anxious expression on their face. He could feel it, his brother was nearing to his location...pacing back and forth, the mer didn't notice as his friends watched him in worry and concern.
Before the mer could pace around anymore a voice called out to him. "Dream, Are you sick?! Do I need to get you medicine?" A human lady called out as they walked closer to the tank that the mers were held in. Turning his skull in the direction of the human named Amelia, dream gave them a reassuring smile before speaking. "I'm fine Amelia! Just thinking about something." Dream responded before their eye lights caught something in the hands of Amelia's.
"What's that?" Dream asked, curiosity in their voice as they pointed at what Amelia was holding. "Oh- I almost forgot about this..this is actually for you since you seemed to like collecting those fake sea shells that had these colors." Amelia responded as they laid down what looked like a strange flower, down into a hole. The strange flower, now sinking into the tank, immediately drew dream's attention as he saw the colors it carried.
Swimming over to the still sinking strange flower, dream carefully grabbed it with his gloved hand before observing it in curiosity and delight. Saying a quick thank you to Amelia, dream swims over to a more isolated corner of the tank that had big fake decorations that helped block him from the eyes of the others, including his friends who went over to chat with Amelia.
Amelia, she was a kind human, when the scientists had taken his circlet that he loved so much, she gave him a flower crown instead. And when they had to give him things such as a restraining collar and gloves, she made sure it was as comfortable as possible and even made it look nice to go with his new form that he now had...
Glancing down at the flower that Amelia gave him, dream couldn't help but smile at the colors that the flower had since it reminded him of his brother whom he hasn't seen for awhile...

Gently holding the flower close to his chest, dream could feel as the bond that he and his brother had grow stronger as he neared. It was strange though, one moment he felt near and then the next he was farther away. Dream didn't exactly know the layout of this place so he thought it must be some kind of maze if his brother is lost in it.
Nodding at his conclusion, dream slightly relaxed, tho he still couldn't help but feel nervous.

(Swad's POV)
'Why do I keep running into all the annoying ones?!' Swad wondered as he tried his best to fly away from a killer whale skeleton mer. 'No wait- scratch that. What's a orca even doing all the way over here?!' Swad wondered as a feeling of annoyance bubbled inside of him. "Leave me alone already!" Swad yelled only to shriek when the other splashed a big wave of water at them. 'This is going to take a while.' Swad thought grumpily as they glared at the orca who simply gave them an amused grin in response, empty eye sockets staring at them... _______________________________________________
