Freya's POV

"Here you go." Katana says as she passes tonight's line-up to me and Raven.

"Thanks." I say as I grab the line-up then Raven and I look at the line-up for tonight's game against Brazil.

After I look at the line-up, I pass it behind me then I relax for the rest of the drive

Once at TQL Stadium, the bus parks then everyone gets off and heads to the locker room.

When we get to the locker room everyone puts their stuff down in their respective lockers.

Once my stuff is in my locker, my teammates and I head outside for the pitch inspection.

When I get onto the pitch, I head to the center circle, stand on the center spot, then I do the Haka.

After I finish doing the Haka, I head back to the locker room.

When I get to my locker I take my AirPods out, then I take out my nose ring, I take off my necklaces, earrings, bracelet, and my rings.

After my jewelry is off, I put my jewelry in it's safe then I put my jewelry safe, phone, and AirPods in my bag.

Once I'm jewelry free I take off my tracksuit and put my dark brown locs up in a ponytail then I put on my warm up top, my long sleeve white undershirt, and my game shorts.

I then sit down in my locker and put on my socks, my shin pads and my yellow boots.

Once I'm dressed Sophia comes over and sits in-between my legs.

"Hey Soph." I say.

"Hi Frey." Sophia says as she hugs my leg then she sits up straight as I begin running my fingers through her long luscious hair.

After a minute of playing with my friend's hair, I pull it back into the normal bubble braid she puts it in for games.

Once Sophia's hair is in a bubble braid, I lean down and kiss my friends head.

After I kiss her head, Sophia and I get up, walk out of the locker room, and head onto the field with the outfield players.

When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the starters for a while then we head back to the locker room.

Once in the locker room I change out of the training top and change into my white jersey while Cairo does her last minute talks.

When the last minute talks end, we are told to head to the tunnel so I kiss my girlfriend and hug her before I head out to the tunnel

Once in the tunnel, I line-up in-between Julie and Naomi then I wait for us to be called out.

Minutes later we are told to head out onto the field for the prematch stuff so I follow Naomi out onto the field.

Once on the field we stand in line for the Brazilian anthem then myself, most of the ladies in the starting XI, and most of the ladies on the bench kneel for our anthem.

When our anthem finishes, we stand up then we shake hands with the Brazilian players.

After we shake hands, we take a starting XI picture, Talia does the coin toss, then we do our team huddle before we head onto the field.

"LET'S GO GIRLS." Kelley shouts.

"She is so annoying." I say.

"Yeah." Talia says. "Yeah she is."

"Cairo can I see the clicker?" I ask as we relax in the locker room at halftime.

We're looking at some video replays of the first half.

We're tied 0-0, but Brazil's kicking our ass

"Sure." Cairo says then she hands me the clicker

"Okay outside backs." I say then I circle the open space in front of me on the video board. "If nothing's open on your side and you see wide open space on the opposite side then please switch the ball to the other side so we can catch them sleeping."

"Yeah they're outside backs are playing way to high." Talia says then I hand Cairo back the clicker.

"TWO MINUTE WARNING." Someone outside the locker room shouts then all of us do our last minute halftime stuff before we head out to the field.

Once everyone is on the field, Talia restarts the game.

The first 10 or so minutes of the second half go a lot better than the first half which is a good sign.

In the 56th minute Sofia intercepts a pass then she jogs up field with the ball.

"Please tell me you listened." I mumble as I move towards the wide open space on my side.

As I'm moving towards the space, I watch Sofia recognize nobodies open on her side then she looks down at the ball and slams her foot into the ball and sends it into the open space in front of me.

"Thank you." I mumble as I sprint into the open space.

While I sprint into the open space I watch the ball fly towards me then drop right in front of me.

Right before the ball hits the grass, I slam my foot into the ball and send it into the box.

The moment the ball leaves my foot, someone shoves me to the ground then a couple seconds later the crowd loudly cheers.

"Yay." I mumble into the grass then my scar starts burning.

The moment my scar starts burning, I stand up then jog over to the sideline while trying not to rub my scar.

"I need a sub." I say as I get to the sideline.

"TRINITY." Cairo shouts as I head straight to the cooler we keep on the sideline for our drinks we get given after we're subbed.

Once at the cooler I search for the mini coke that we put in the cooler.

"Finally." I mumble as I find the 7.5 oz soda then I grab it and close the cooler.

Once I have the soda I head over to where the players are sitting

"Is it your scar?" Jaelin asks.

"Yeah." I say as I try not to rub my scar.

"Sit." Jaelin says as she points to the ground next to the benches then I sit down next to the bench.

"Here." I say as I hand Jaelin the soda.

"Lean your head back." Jaelin says so I do then I close my eyes

Once my eyes are closed I hear Jaelin open the soda then she gently pours the soda over my scar.

"Thank fuck." I mumble as the pain subsides.

"I still can't believe this works." Jaelin says.

"Me either Jaelin." I mumble. "Me either."
