In 2018, Freya Nightingale was poised to be the next big then in World Football, but three days before she was to join one of the biggest clubs in Europe, she vanished.

"Here you go." Raven says as she hands me a piece of paper.

"Uh." I say considering I already know the team room assignments for the world cup.
"Flip it to the back." Raven says so I do.
"That's the second time." I say as I look at the back.

We're in Denver ahead of our next pre-world cup friendly which is In a couple days.
This afternoon we're going kayaking around one of the lakes here in the Denver area.
"Uh Ali and Ash are together." I say.
"Yeah Lynn is switching so that she can be with Ali and Ash can get the patented Alyssa silent treatment."
"I don't know why Ash is still here." I say.
"Cause her contract runs out after the world cup so if if she toughs it out or gets fired then she gets all her money, but if she quits then she gets nothing." Raven say.
"Oh." I say then I see a bunch of cars pulling up. "Finally."
Raven and I have been here setting up the kayaks for the last 30 minutes.
My family has a lot of kayak's because we have a few lake houses that we own and rent out to people so Raven and I have been collecting the kayak's all morning.
"Seriously." Raven says as she looks at and adjusts the brim of my hat.

I'm wearing blue swim trunks, a red bikini top, and my white Houston Texans bucket hat.
"I have my moments." I say with a smile.
"Yes you do." Raven says. "I hope the kiddos have fun at the house."
Megan, Nova, Mikaela, Aurora, Sheridan, Luna, and Skye are at my house looking after the kids of the team with my moms, Everest, and my sister.
Aurora would have been with us, but she had a rough night last night so she's gonna stay and relax with the kids.
Sam says Aurora may have ate something bad so I'm sure my moms will take good care of her.
And don't worry, my office that houses my guns is locked and only can be opened by myself, my moms, my sister, Raven, and Everest so the kiddos are safe if they somehow get past the adults and sneak up stairs.
"I got them some legos to play with so they should have some fun with that then there's also the pool and some other stuff around the house.
"Are they your good legos?" Raven asks.
"Fuck no." I say causing my girlfriend to laugh then we wait as our teammates come over.
"You have a lot of canoes." Ashley says.
"I do." I say as I count everyone. "Uh we're missing someone."
"No we're good." Crystal says. "The Bitch isn't coming."
A lot of the team has started referring to Ash as The Bitch.
"Okay then." I say then I hand the kayak list to Tierna. "Once you know who you're with grab a life jacket and find your boat."
"You don't have to wear the life jacket, but it has to be in the kayak or else you could be fined by the cops." Raven says.
Everyone nods and looks through the lists while Raven and I grab life jackets and head to our kayak.
When we get to our kayak Raven puts our life Jackets on our seats so we have some cushion then she gets in the front seat.
Once Raven's in the kayak, I push it into the water then I climb into our kayak.
"Alright I'm good." I say as I grab my paddle then Raven and I paddle out a bit before we turn around to make sure everyone gets in.
"Wonder where The Bitch is." Raven says.
"Probably fucking that tv chick she cheated with." I say.
"What a cunt." Raven says.
"Mhmm." I say. "I hope Ali knows we'll fuck Ash up anytime she wants."
"Oh I think she does." Raven says.
"At least now Ali can get fucked by someone with an actual decent sized dick." I say causing Raven to laugh.
Sadly I've seen Ash's dick in the showers and her dick is so small.
"They're taking so long." I say then I cover Raven's ears. "JUST GET IN AND PADDLE OUT."
"WE'RE TRYING." Rose shouts as I uncover Raven's ears.
Over the next couple of minutes all of our teammates paddle out to us so Raven and I turn back around then we start paddling across the lake.
"Freya do you think if you had your proper swimming stuff on that you'd beat us across the lake if we paddled and you swam?" Sarah asks.
"I'd easily beat you." I say. "Now if you all were very good paddlers you'd probably win."
"Are you saying we're not good paddlers?" Adelaide questions.
"I'm just being observant." I say.
"Ooh Ali we should get pictures here to put on your Hinge profile." I hear Crystal say.
"What's hinge?" I whisper.
"I think it's a dating app." Raven whispers.
"Oh." I say then I see Ali's kayak being pulled by Alyssa and Lynn's kayak. "Well someone's got the right idea."
"Did anybody bring a drink?" Ali asks as she stretches out on her kayak.
"Uh not alcoholic cause you can get a BUI, but I brought some sodas." Kristie says.
"I shoulda brought a speaker to have with us." Raven says.
"That would've been nice." I say. "That would have been real nice."
