MADDIES POV-11 years previously
"Higher Mikey!" I squeal, swinging my legs and trying to make myself go higher and faster.
"I'm trying Maddie!" My twin brother giggles, pushing me again. After a couple of minutes I jump off and we run around, pushing each other and giggling like idiots. When Michael catches up to me in a game of tag, he grabs me and pulls me into a hug.
"I love you Maddie" he grins, squeezing me.
"I love you too Mikey!" We climb back to our feet and he tips me running off screaming
"You're it!!"
I run after him, but trip over a tree root. I start to cry and Mikey makes his way towards me but is beaten to it by a dark skinned lady with curly hair, who helps me to my feet before clamping a hand over my mouth and pulling me away. She pushes me into the car and I bang on the windows, trying to reach my brother who's frantically running after the car.
"Mikey!" I scream, before I hit my head on the window and everything goes black.
