Chapter 39
On Sunday, Li Zan took a flight back to Liangcheng.
Song Ran also moved from the hotel to her mother's house, lying that she had just arrived.
Ran Yuwei was naturally happy that she was finally willing to come to the Imperial City. For the first time, she inquired in detail about the members of the column team she was working with.  He also said, intentionally or unintentionally, who had received favors from her at work.
Song Ran was very sensitive and immediately said: "Don't worry. I do my own thing and don't need to rely on you."
Ran Yuwei said lightly: "That's right. After winning the Pulitzer, you are already a reporter on your own. You can do a good job without me."
Although her tone was not pleasant, it was not sarcastic.
Song Ran was not used to it, and she wondered if her mother was being extra accommodating because of her illness.
But no matter what, after Song Ran moved here, the relationship between mother and daughter became a little harmonious.
The only trouble was that Song Ran couldn't easily contact Li Zan at home and had to avoid Ran Yuwei.  My cell phone was basically silent, and I pretended to be working seriously when chatting. Occasionally, when I wanted to laugh, I could only hold it in.
Even when making a phone call, Ran Yuwei had to hide under the quilt when Ran Yuwei returned to her room.
At the weekend, Li Zan came to visit her in the Imperial City, and she told her mother that she would stay out all night to collect folk songs in the countryside.
She had rarely lied since she was a child, and Ran Yuwei had no suspicion at all.
Li Zan only visited her once, and then he returned to the team.  Militarized management will no longer be possible.
Song Ran was also busy with the filming of the column team, so she couldn't spare the time to go back to Liangcheng to see him, so she could only talk on the phone and send videos at night.
In late May, Li Zan said that there was going to be a wedding in their military camp and asked her if she wanted to come and see it.
Song Ran was surprised: "Who is getting married?"
"Jiang Lin." When he said this, Li Zan was wiping his hair with a towel on the other side of the video.  It was now summer in Liangcheng, and he had just taken a shower. Because he was in the military camp dormitory, he had no clothes on his upper body, exposing his beautiful collarbone.
She stared at it for several seconds before saying in surprise: "Jiang Lin? He didn't even have a girlfriend when he was in Dongguo. Didn't he just return to China in March?"
"The instructor introduced me after returning to China." Li Zan stood up and threw the towel on the shelf, revealing a row of sexy and powerful abdominal muscles on the screen.
Song Ran blinked twice, inexplicably remembering her belly and the feeling of his rubbing there. Thinking of this, her stomach felt slightly hot.  After she was distracted for another two seconds, she was even more surprised and said: "Huh? You got married after knowing each other for two months?"
Li Zan sat back. He had just taken a shower, and his face became cleaner and more delicate. He smiled at her at the other end of the screen and said, "They had a flash marriage." The instructor was also shocked at the time and asked, "Do you want to think about it again?"  one time."
Song Ran chuckled and asked again: "Is it Saturday night?"
   "right."
"I have something to do that morning, so I'll come over in the afternoon."
   "good."
On the morning of Saturday, Song Ran compiled his work summary and lied to Ran Yuwei as usual about going out for filming.
She wore a beautiful beige dress, which was simple and elegant, yet gentle and cute.  Before departure, I went to the barber shop downstairs to wash my hair and get a blow-dry.
She put on a facial mask on the plane, and when she arrived in Liangcheng, she drew her eyebrows in front of the mirror in the airport dressing room, put on powder, and applied lipstick. The makeup was light and fresh, but much more refined than usual.
Finally, I sprayed the perfume in the air, walked into the mist and slowly turned around.
She took a taxi and went straight to Luoyu Mountain. As she drove into the mountain road, she lay down by the window and looked out at the lush green trees and bright summer flowers all over the mountain, and the sunlight dancing in the gaps between the trees.
Arriving at the gate of the army, many military family members who came to attend the wedding were registered one by one.
Song Ran trotted over and stood among them dressed in beige, unable to help but purse her lips and smile.
When it was her turn, the sentry asked: "What is the family number?"
Song Ran was stunned and said, "I don't know..."
The sentry was funny: "Why don't my family members know?"
The people behind also laughed.
Song Ran whispered: "I'm looking for Li Zan, Captain Li."
There were many officers and soldiers in the military camp. The sentry might not recognize Li Zan's name if he had any other name.
The sentry asked: "Who are you Captain Li?"
"Female...friend."
"Ah? Friend or girlfriend?"
Song Ran stood in the smiling eyes of everyone. Before she could speak, a voice came from behind: "My girlfriend."
Song Ran turned around, and Li Zan, dressed in military uniform, came to pick her up.
Rather than accepting, it’s more like claiming.
The sentry smiled and let Song Ran in.
The moment Song Ran saw Li Zan, he was stunned.  She had never seen him in regular clothes.  The olive green orthodox military uniform was worn on him, upright and upright, like a small poplar; the belt at the waist was tied tightly, narrow and strong, making him taller and longer.  All the legs are covered under the belt, and the trousers are straight and straight without any wrinkles.
He was wearing a military cap, and his face was heroic and bright. His temperament was completely different from the two months when they lived together.
But the gentle smile he couldn't help but show when he saw her brought that A-Zan back to her.
The two hadn't seen each other for a long time, and they were both happy and unnatural to see each other again. All they could do was look at each other and smile.
"Are you tired from the journey?"
"Not tired."
He held her hand, and she leaned closer to him, followed him inside, and kept looking up at him.
Li Zan saw her looking at her stupidly and was amused: "Why are you always looking at me? Don't you know me?" He said, holding her hand tightly, "It's too late if you don't know her. I took her away."
